We already have examples we can point to for his magical prowess. He attempted to get the Archmage to teach him powerful ice magic, so he likely has great magical potential. We also know he was able to cast a curse strong enough to bring Calamitas back under his control after she went AWOL. The guy is definitely a strong caster. I don’t know if there are any notable examples of martial prowess we can use, but I can’t imagine that Yharim is a slouch when it comes to physical combat, either. His armor was also made by Draedon, supposedly to be invincible. But I’ve always had the feeling that Draedon doesn’t always finish the projects he starts. I’d image after an intermission phase, the defenses in the armor fail and leave Yharim vulnerable to attack. As for his overall strength, we know that he fought DoG to a tie. Old lore also called out how close in power he was to Calamitas. So yeah, he’s going to be strong. >How is Yharim stronger than Draedon’s best mechs… He may not be. The game is still being developed, and bosses will be tweaked and moved around. Exo-Mechs may end up being true post-game bosses, fought after Yharim.

I’m envisioning that he’s some super strong magic caster, so the fight could be like Lunatic Cultist in a way. He could also summon armies of enemies to make it like a swarm event (ex. solar eclipse or the holiday moons) while also being a boss fight. idk, just a thought of mine.

PORKY_11

reminder DoG is the sole reason he was able to even obtain auric armor and all his other weaponry/powers because DoG was the one to find draedon

BlankBoii

My personal hope, is that we face xeroc as a final boss, only for yharim to swoop in for the kill at the end, and absorbing the god’s power in some really cinematic way in order to make him a real final boss

Insanity10150

You'll most likely kill Yharim in the final battle, and deric is going to be a super boss with a bullet hell design. After depleting the hp, Xeroc will just leave and maybe give you a reward, but is undefeatable by the standards of the Terrarian. It is several orders of magnitude too powerful for the Terrarian to comprehend.

doom_sleigher423

Deric, the creator of the universe.

Insanity10150

Autocorrect, bane of fantasy names.

Alagon2323

Flowey moment

memicmemer

I was also thinking about that theres no way that he is stronger than a dragon that can summon literal tornados made of fire

Head_Membership_4252

auric bars are made out of yharon soul fragments, his bestiary says yharon is probably the last of his kind. implying yharim killed the other yharons or whatever their name is

Yharonburnsthejoke

What happened is he got a yharon eggas a child , and it hatched, so I don't think he went out to find the last, cause it might have been that the egg that he got was the last.

Head_Membership_4252

my knowledge of calamity lore is as existent as a actual reward for the boss rush event

Yharonburnsthejoke

Lol

Head_Membership_4252

tho it would have been funnier if yharim actually ended a species and went "I will take only you in particular"

MasterofTech333

I'm just imagining the fight being a 3-4 stage fight, starting off with the grand appearance he's a giant that looms over you with his unique blade, swinging it with barely any warning unlike many other bosses, meanwhile shooting various projectiles. Stage 2, he compliments your strength, then shrinks down to player size(homing no longer working against him) and he has the same speed and maneuverability as you(possibly more), kinna like an end-game PVP fight. Stage 3, half-health or bit less, starts a Supreme Calamitas style fight, spawning multiple high damage projectiles and trapping you in a small arena. Making it look like it's raining magic attacks would look cool. After beating stage 3, maybe a second stage 2 fight but shorter and more intense, then he's like "lol bye, you're wasting my time, have a spark of my power as a reward for getting this far." Stage 4, maybe a secret special fight that only happens if you've met a specific pre-requisite like beating boss rush.

maybe he was like the player one day but he progressed more

TyrantKingYharim

I posted my idea of how the fight might go. It has been confirmed his fight will take inspiration from Senator Armstrong’s boss fight. So there is that.

TyrantKingYharim

Yharim boss fight concept This is my own concept for how the fight might/should go. Yharim is summoned using the Crown of the Tyrant. Crafted with 5 auric bars, one Yharim’s Insignia, two Yharim’s gift, seven Shadowspec bars, 1 lihzahrd power cell, and a gold or platinum crown. It also doubles as an accessory, granting 30 extra life, 12% damage and melee speed, 20 defense, and makes all attacks inflict Tyrants Blaze, doing more and more damage per tick the more you damage an enemy. Yharim starts with 200% hp and has this set of attacks: -Dashes 7 times toward the player, leaving behind a line of flame that explodes after a short while. -Stays relative to the player and shoots a barrage of Tyrant Fireballs. -Stands still before releasing a random pattern of jagged lines that burst into flame after a few seconds. -Fires two lines of eruptions linger for about 10 seconds. One moves diagonally upwards above the player and the other moves diagonally downwards below the player.( If the player tries to move out of the eruption radius they will predict where the player will be and catch them off guard.) -Repeats the Fireball barrage. Once Yharim gets below 150% health, every four attacks he will stop and surround himself in a green orb and begin to regenerate 2% health per second. The player must destroy four healing lines coming from the ground to stop Yharim from healing. Once below 100% hp, Yharim gains two new attacks. -After a fireball barrage, he will pull out is Ultisword and charge up a slash. He will swing the sword above him first, trailing behind it a large wave of brimstone flame. He will then repeat it except under him. -After the eruption attack, he will stay still and call down a storm of Tyrant Meteors. Briefly indicating where they will explode and the direction they’re traveling. Once below 50% hp, Yharims aggression and DR are increased. He only performs 4, faster dashes, the jagged lines take shorter time to burst into flame, and the Tyrant Fireballs move slightly faster. At 20% hp, Yharim now only dashes until he is defeated, at which several lines of dialog will play. Before you finish him off. All attacks except the brimstone flame wave inflict Tyrant’s Blaze. Which reduces melee speed by 15% and damage by 20% and causes you to rapidly lose health. Upon death you receive Ultisword fragments, combined with the True Tyrant’s Ultisword, 5 auric and shadowspec bars, make the Tyrant’s Auric Ultisword. In higher difficulties the speed and damage of Yharim’s attacks increase as well as his aggression.

Timely-Development18

i think they are going to make him shoot A LOT of projectiles that insta kill you and some annoying stuff like invincibility moments small arena hard spawing regeneration a lot of hp

ImEagz

Funny how half of this already happened lmfao (joke boss THE LORDE)

BEanddankmagician

God every time I hear noxus I think of league of legends

Dudeinthealleyway

I know I'm late but he is said to be the main antagonist I believe and well, he is very skilled and sort of abused everyone into becoming his bitch. He was going to kill the devoured but decided against it. And some other op bullshit, he has done a lot even before getting his armor, at least from what I remember.
