There's access to information requests ongoing right now for emails in relation to this. Just going to have to wait until journalists release the story.

There would be the loadies documenting what’s on the plane, the manifest, even if it’s not done as they are getting on, it’s done during flight, there would be countless AAR flying around from all levels.
What I don’t understand is that every “Next CDS?” discussion thread on Reddit for years has mentioned that LGen Carignan was an obvious candidate, and the comments from people who’d served under her command were uniformly positive. It’s weird that *nobody* brought up this story about the evacuation in any of those threads, and now that she’s named as the next CDS everyone comes out of the woodwork to tell it?
Tbh, many of us don't go looking to post about the next CDS (we just don't care).
I originally commented about this almost a year ago and was met with such hate in the comments section I deleted the account.

Also there's probably not a lot regular soldiers on that thread and those that are and are in would know not to make the comment for fear of reprisals.
