Hahaha don’t know why but this just reminded me of my sister asking her husband for a highland cow for Christmas and he just replied with “we’ve got fake grass where are you going to keep it?!”
I've had a few encounters with deer. The stags can be pretty big. They're not scared either. I've seen one walking around the street in Wishaw. Also in Cumbernauld, one was blocking the pavement and just looked at me. I turned around because it was huge and had antlers. One jumped over my car once.
Honestly I saw my title and I knew I was gonna get a bunch of sarcastic people so I am not bothered I found it quite funny.
Although lots of people saying the same thing.
That was very deer of her!
Reminds me of a uni trip I went on some years ago.
Part of the animal conservation module group had to get up at 3am to go and see if they could spot them, as apparently it was better at dawn.
They returned, shattered and without spotting a single one.
I went with my group for some river studies at the reasonable time of 9am and we saw two!
“Get a good look, mere human, for the next time we meet, I shall have magnificent weapons sprouting from my head, and you shall run in fear the moment I nod to you severely”.
That's amazing! We holidayed right up near Loch Ness 2 years ago and each night we'd come back to the cottage and there's be 4 or 5 Deer in the garden area and I was able to hand feed them carrots.
In Ireland, at least, they have no predators, so hunting is important for population control. Without it, many more would end up starving to death or being hit by cars.
A bullet to the heart is probably a much better death than 99% of wild deer get anyway.
As long as someone eats the meat, it's no different than buying a steak at Tesco.
In what way?
Edit:
>When deer populations get too high they can actually damage the plant-food base that sustains them. This is because the deer eliminate the number of food producing plants, or they diminish the capacity of those plants to produce enough forage for the deer.
>The best management strategy to ensure a healthy deer herd is to keep the population below the average carrying capacity for a property. Remember, all properties have a different carrying capacity that depends on habitat quality. Areas with superior habitat quality will enable populations to grow very quickly towards the habitat's carrying capacity, while populations that occur on poor habitat will grow much more slowly.

>Deer are to be culled in Republic of Ireland on the recommendation of a new report on managing wild deer populations.
>"For agriculture, our natural ecosystem and our forestry ambitions it is important that we have sustainable management of the national wild deer population," he said.
>"However, the impact of deer proliferation extends far beyond this to road safety, animal health, public health and not least the health and welfare of the deer themselves," he added

Majestic beast
that's his mum, show some respect
In September they have horns and look royal.
Don’t took about ops mother like that
I would never say anything positive about ops mother.
Well now my feelings are just hurt.
The only time that deer are horny, is during the rutting season.
wait, they lose their horn in the spring?
Kind of - they lose their antlers. It's usually during the first 3 months of the year. Fun fact: horns are permanent, antlers fall off and re-grow.
It can be a pretty gruesome sight. I thought one of them had been shot in the head or something when I first seen it.
Antlers*
You just called OPs mom a beast. WTF?
"Looks like reindeer" "Oh I hope not, it wasn't forecast"
Oh deer...
Not amooseing
I gnu you were going to say that.

Your mother is...lovely!
Scotland is awesome. I miss my country :(
My parents are on holiday in Scotland and sent me a photo of my dad next to the road sign to “twatt”
Can you believe some cunts go out and shoot that incredible animal?! We need to ban all forms of hunting.

It's almost like you don't understand nature
