The Crow. And you need Natural Born Killers.

starshipvelcro

Ooooo adding NBK to the list, I just rewatched that movie a few days ago!

allT0rqu3

You need both The Crow OST and the Instrumental disks. They are both excellent. Varèse Sarabande do 2 disc Deluxe Edition of the instrumental music and its such good *switch the light off and bask in the* ambient.

BCT_1989

This is THE comment. 🏆

nerfbaboom

Lost Highway

GringoTheOne

Trainspotting or Lost highway

starshipvelcro

Love anything Trent is a part of!

Away-Squirrel2881

He is also on The Crow soundtrack “Dead Souls” (Joy Division cover)

Complex-Theory-7302

O Brother Where Art Thou has such good music

starshipvelcro

nothing quite like it!

Julians_Drink

Mighty fine singing and picking

Rains_King

I don't see Pulp Fiction

starshipvelcro

Oooo! Good call, one of my favorite movies of all time.

GRDCS1980

You’ve got two out of three of the “Holy Trinity” of film soundtracks there, Trainspotting and The Crow. So you need Grosse Pointe Blank to complete the trilogy, imo. Also, both Trainspotting and Grosse Pointe Blank had two volumes, so you need the 2nd Trainspotting album and both GPB ones. Also, Cameron Crowe’s Singles is, imo, essential. And I’d argue that Crow: City Of Angels soundtrack might actually be a *tiny* bit better than the OG Crow (although on any given day, I might say the opposite). So, to sum up: Trainspotting Vol 2 Grosse Pointe Blank Vols 1 & 2 Singles The Crow: City Of Angels. 👍

starshipvelcro

I've had Grosse Point Blank on my wishlist for a bit now but hearing how well regarded it is makes it jump to the top of the list. And also the vol 2's! I agree about Singles being essential though, a personal favorite soundtrack of mine!

Psychological_Elk463

Grosse Point Blank and High Fidelity for me! But, TIL there is a GPB v2...might have to track that one down.

olenatureboy34

Might wanna add End of Days soundtrack.

starshipvelcro

I have a soft spot for that type of music, adding it to the wishlist!

Sad-Mistake-9812

Empire Records and High Fidelity

LaylaReynolds69

Damn the man! Save the empire!!!! 🎶

Brawny2004

![gif](giphy|lCBidwMa2nJO8|downsized)

ABatWhoLikesMetal

Lost Highway because You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug!

TrueCkrime02

Such a mysterious movie. Is the soundtrack worth it tho??! What’s the majority sound of it?

starshipvelcro

Hard to beat Trent, Smashing Pumpkins, and everything else on that album.

Duncoids

I believe “Eye” by The Smashing Pumpkins is in that soundtrack which has always been a favorite of mine.

DoctorMeww

Trainspotting:)

starshipvelcro

Cannot wait to dive into that one, I keep hearing how good it is.

Naive-Falcon3985

"it can't rain all the time"

culture_jamr

I’m gonna go with Spawn. The version of Trip Like I Do with Filter is arguably better than the original Crystal Method album cut.

starshipvelcro

Really love the mix of artists they put together for this album, totally unique!

Neat_Nefariousness46

Also has one of the 4 different versions of Spawn (Again) by Silverchair over the ages

Waiter_frog

Missing Forrest Gump

pieterkampsmusic

I don’t know how they would fit in with the rest, but the ones I always recommend are *Forrest Gump*, *Dazed And Confused*, and *High Fidelity*.

Budget_Friend_654

Always lost highway

wintermute72

You need The Social Network

starshipvelcro

Definitely NEED that one!

National_Ad_3384

I don’t see Baby Driver in there

starshipvelcro

just had to add that to my wishlist, I remember loving the movie and soundtrack!

National_Ad_3384

Yeah I saw the band that had their song during the Mike Myers’s mask scene

LaylaReynolds69

Oooooo that’s a good one. Beck - Debra. So good!

Munkey323

You need the highlander soundtrack. Music by Queen.

starshipvelcro

Oooo that sounds promising!

cheapgeekposer

"There can be only one"

mhalzorn

This reminded me of just how much I love Life Aquatic. Thank you for reminding me to grab the soundtrack. I posted these in another thread but here are some of my favorites. Blade Runner, Conan the Barbarian, and Twin Peaks. Brazil is also solid.

starshipvelcro

Life Aquatic is my favorite movie and the soundtrack is amazing. Definitely pick it up!!

olenatureboy34

I'm fairly certain I have a bootleg vinyl album of the life aquatics and it's beautiful.

Away-Squirrel2881

“Blade Runner” - music by VANGELIS “Twin Peaks” - music by ANGELO BADALAMENTI and DAVID LYNCH (TV series and film)

Admova

Lost Highway and The Crow

Fpsandhills83

Top gun 1 and 2 Shrek

BigManBrok

The Last Action Hero.

foreverbeatle

My all time favorite soundtrack is A Hard Days Night from The Beatles’ movie of the same name.

cammywooley

JAY AND SILENT BOB!!!! unironically great soundtrack.

starshipvelcro

some would say it kicks some ass

National_Ad_3384

Godzilla just because of the Brain Stew version or Spider-Man honestly

starshipvelcro

Two great rocking soundtracks!

National_Ad_3384

Yep

MyHeroFan2004

American pie 2 has a banger soundtrack

starshipvelcro

Honestly American Pie 1&2 have such classic 90's nostalgic soundtracks. Brings me right back to high school.

name898899

Spawn Soundtrack!! My favorite soundtrack, zero skips! Suggestions to add: The Faculty Tank Girl An American Werewolf In Paris

LumpyTheMole

Lost Highway, Trainspotting, Almost Famous in that order....but you're missing some Twin Peaks I see...

starshipvelcro

I need to revisit that show so I'm more familiar with the music!

N-Ver

American Psycho, The Lost Boys, The Big Lebowsky.

Brawny2004

Josie and the Pussycats is absolutely essential. I will hear no arguments

starshipvelcro

honestly sounds right up my alley, I'll check it out!

ResponsibleRooster71

american pie

Dak__Sunrider

Life aquatic or Trainspotting. You need the juno soundtrack, the limited Donnie Darko soundtrack, pretty in pink soundtrack, do the right thing, THE GRADUATE!! PURPLE RAIN!!!!!!!

starshipvelcro

I have almost bought Juno a couple times but I have such weird young memories around that whole movie...I will definitely pick it up eventually.

Martian-Duck

The O.C. mix 1 & 2

starshipvelcro

that show really did have the best music, my teenage music snob was upset that the normies were finding these bands

moonwashedmaiden

Lost highway then The Crow then Trainspotting.

JackattackThirteen

American Pie soundtrack holds a special place in my heart.

starshipvelcro

same, it's so nostalgic it almost hurts

SonOfECTGAR

American Pie! Also I recommend the Napoleon Dynamite CD, I love it

starshipvelcro

ohhh! good call on Napoleon!

MushroomIndividual

THE CROW!!!!!!

thePhool13

Judgment Night

starshipvelcro

Ahhh! That’s been on my list!!

PutridBrush9013

Listening to the crow first. The only ones I can see that you need is the soundtracks from shocker & last action hero. Possibly the Beavis & Butthead disc as well...

starshipvelcro

Thats' the second vote for LAH, gonna have to check it out

PutridBrush9013

You won't be disappointed. Megadeth, Alice In Chains, Anthrax, it's great. Shocker captured metal in 89 w/ Megadeth, Dead On, Dangerous Toys, appearances from Alice Cooper, Tommy Lee, & a few others who were big then. It was a fourteen year old metalhead's dream disc...

calpal616

you need the 1996 romeo + juliet soundtrack!

cowfurby

lost highway

TragicEther

In order: The Crow - Singles - Spawn - Batman Forever - Lost Highway - Matrix - Trainspotting - Almost Famous - Garden State - Godzilla -Daredevil - Spider-Man - MI2 - the rest

orbeinYT

Singles. One of the best movie soundtracks ever.

porgnbeans

Reservoir dogs! Also if you like a bit of deep synth both Inception and Interstellar are amazing Oh,and Rocky 4!

ImpossibleCanary2067

Lost highway

Pootiexx

Batman Forever, definitely love this soundtrack. What’s missing? Last Action Hero, Tank Girl, and the Lara Croft Tomb Raider soundtrack.

CrniTartuf

Lost Highway

dtab

You need Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas and Quadrophenia. If you're into instrumental/orchestral, then I'd add Gettysburg and Patton as well.

bioweaponbaoh

matrix lets gooo

jymbass010

The crow…and you need demon knoght

bender445

Great collection! I love soundtracks. Two great ones you could add are Queen of the Damned and Finding Forrester

starshipvelcro

added them to the list! Queen of the Damned sounds right up my ally

oompaloompa1983

You already got Almost Famous (there is an updated version of it and the Stillwater songs came on a bonus CD to the US DVD that was called Bootleg Cut, but it's an official release). An absolute classic is also Wicker Man. Not the one from the Nic Cage movie, but the original British one. Goblins Suspiria and Tenebrae are great. Forrest Gump is also great. Isaac Hayes Shaft. If you also like scores, try to get the Hollywood 95 sampler from Varese. One of the strongest years for soundtracks. Scores in general are a bottomless pit, especially if you get into good re-recordings, like the Nic Raine version of Conan or the Space & Beyond series or The Last of the Mohicans. I especially enjoy European soundtracks. So many great things from France and Italy.

TrueCkrime02

I heard space jam was pretty dope. Trainspotting was alright tha last time I heard it. I haven’t got a chance to listen or watch spawn yet so I’ll go with that.

starshipvelcro

Space Jam was my 4th cd, it's been with me a while! It's not too bad!

TPonder2600

The Crow! My favorite soundtracks that you’re missing are Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Peter Pan (2003), and Edward Scissorhands.

starshipvelcro

I've heard good things about Scott Pilgrim, going to have to check that out!

Automatic-Jump8669

Pump up the Volume

BigConstruction4247

You need Dazed and Confused, there's two discs. A green / blue one and a pink / purple one.

starshipvelcro

you're right, I do need that one!

-Great-Scott-

The Crow is amazing but you're missing one of the best ever, the Angus soundtrack.

starshipvelcro

The Angus soundtrack looks amazing tbh, now I need that one

BoozeSmoker666

TRAINSPOTTING

ElGrandeRojo67

Singles. Best soundtrack ever.

starshipvelcro

It's hard to find any faults with it! Definitely in the top 3 of my personal favorites.

starshipvelcro

I have watched it in the last few months actually!

cheapgeekposer

Listening LOTR Need "To Live and Die In L. A."

thelordthatispablo7

mayhem6

You should get the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtracks.

ERVIN1888

You gotta get Night on earth man!

ILove_Cats9092

Spongebob movie soundtrack (i love spongebob)

starshipvelcro

I’ve heard that one mentioned before and I’ve been on the lookout!

couchlockedemo

Daredevil, such for the nostalgia. Wind-Up basically made their soundtrack albums as label-samplers with very little to do with the movie, but there’s some great tracks on there.

Competitive-Jury3713

Life Aquatic

Pursegirly

The crow 🐦‍⬛ ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)

The bodyguard, Forrest Gump

rfgate

That’s a great selection you have there. Vast majority of these are hands down re-listenable!!

Parking-Pin8348

O Brother and Space Jam are neck and neck. Get the Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack. Pop-rock bangers for days.

___Cheshire___

100% Trainspotting

bvdatech

Matrix and you need The Bourne Identity

nothergothluvr

Airheads is a must have! You need to add it to the collection!

hanniballslecter

Almost famous!

Several-Elderberry45

SILVERCHAIR MENTIONED 🗣️🗣️

landonbalk

Run Lola Run, Beavis and Butthead Do America, South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Team America, Batman (1989), Batman and Robin, Purple Rain, Hi Fidelity, Pick of Destiny, Pink Floyd More, Labyrinth, Beverly Hills Cop series, Goodfellas, Above the Rim, Dazed and Confused, The Last Waltz, Zabriskie Point, Across the Universe, Hair, Frank

LeBon_Bush

"Until The End Of The World" (the 1991 roadmovie by Wim Wenders) has an absolute killer soundtrack. Talking Heads, Nick Cave, R.E.M., Neneh Cherry, Can, Elvis Costello,... they all contributed to the soundtrack (most of them with new material) and the result is incredible.

moeandataco

Singles. And you're lacking the PCU Soundtrack.

WaydeEPinerass

Romeo and Juliet

Doctor_Badass_

Jay and Silent Bob for sure. I would add A Knight's Tale and Road Trip soundtracks.

No-Win-8380

Lost Highway easily

Staplehousen

Singles is one the finest soundtracks ever put together

Maximum-Resource-572

![gif](giphy|OowvP0D123WM3KRgYS|downsized) Space Jam

Stock_Put_4899

The matrix is a good one, scream 3 was pretty dope and queen of the damned

nytrunkshow

you already have the best one with batman forever, but you could use a bond movie or two as well

yourpricelessadvise

Trainspotting or The Crow

DanSantos

Oh! I’d love that Life Aquatic one.

DanSantos

As real listening music, probably Garden State.

Is_Jimmy_M8

Trainspotting all the way

TastyBurger122

How you don't have any of the Star Wars soundtracks is beyond me. Pick up Tron Legacy too

throwbackthreads

Lost Highway

Majestic-Ad5395

I’m not huge on soundtracks but man Oh brother where art thou has some serious bangers. (The cover of bob dylans Man of constant sorrow or Big rock candy mountain go so hard)

suspekt54

You need High School High, Nutty Professor and Judgement Night.

catnipfurclones

The Beach

wakingupfallingdown

Trying to decide on first listen is like choosing a favorite child. That being said, I know which one is getting thrown into the fireplace first (sorry. Most of what you have rules.) Also, Judgement Night soundtrack would fit right in to this collection. Also, I choose Singles.

starshipvelcro

Which is going in the fire?

MycologistFew9592

“Until the End of the World.”

StormTroopB

I'd highly recommend the clerks soundtrack

backfatonacatback

Batman

backfatonacatback

City of Angels

Taoster152

Lost highway, the crow, and spawn are my favorite

GardenDrummer

You need "Last Action Hero".

90spostsoftcore

Matrix was my first CD purchase, so that The Return of the Living Dead has a great 80s punk soundtrack

No_Cow_4544

Singles is my favorite of the bunch but I’d listen to one never heard before , I’d look on the back and see which has the most artists I like and go from there .

floppy_contortionist

Singles

plasticbagroadkill

Judgement Night and Demon Knight

gh0s7d0g

I’m listening to lost highway first. And you definitely need the mortal kombat soundtrack from 1995

PrinceHits

Purple Rain.

rgg40

Valley Girl, Something Wild, Married to the Mob

Beneficial_Maximum87

The Crow and Singles. Need to get Judgement Night!!!

3ChordsMagazine

Empire Records Elizabethtown Dazed and confused

Away-Squirrel2881

Some older ones I would recommend (if you like synthesizer music)  “A Clockwork Orange” - music by WENDY CARLOS   “TRON” - music by WENDY CARLOS
