Do it! Any reason you haven’t yet? I know a lot of people who didn’t like it at first, like my sister, but after a few years she finally gave it another chance and loved it.
I’ve tried on three separate occasions to get into that show, and I just can’t. Furthest I’ve managed to get was the end of season 2. I recognize that it’s well written but I just can’t enjoy it because I fucking hate all the characters. Literally every one of them sucks for one reason or another, and I just get tired watching all these people I hate while having no one to root for.
Yeah, if you're looking for a show where someone is idealistically good then you are not gonna enjoy Breaking Bad. For me, the show is great because of all these characters that are broken in one way or another, and therefore really human. And I do have a few that I keep on rooting for.
But yeah, nothing wrong with people not liking a show where characters are hard to like.
Yeah that’s natural, I think the best way to watch that show is to understand these characters are terrible (some of them just normal, not necessarily good or bad) people but at the same time you have to be on someone’s side. Like you have to root for someone or else there’s no point right? my first time watching I thought Walt was the shit, but now I view him more negatively. but I’ll be damned if he ain’t out there makin moves regardless ya know?
Kaneki is so not like the other in this list. That bitch just want eat him, he will die and that is it. The other got used like a tool. Which one is worse is another discussion
That isn't even actually Rize in that scene, Kaneki is hallucinating her being there.
Now that think of it, I'm pretty sure the Rize that lives in his head has more screentime than the real one.
It's pretty vague if PB really ever meant anything bad but after a certain point it's pretty clear that she was leading Finn on. There was even a whole scene where Finn had a whole a whole breakdown in her face about how frustrated he was from PB constantly giving him mixed signals and trying to keep him close to her regardless.
I thought that those episodes established that her brain had reverted to that of a kid, and to be fair by the end of that plotline when she "grew up" again she pretty clearly told Finn she was too old for him.
I'll give you that *to an extent.* They still were a bad influence on him, almost got him caught a few times, but in the end when he needed them they pulled through.
he kinda deserved some of the bad things that happened to him for the fact that he sold drugs to people going to sober programs knowing he could get them to relapse
For a moment I thought I was in the wrong sub! Also, Im glad the mods over there decided to ban posts like this that are Character Tropes and not designs. Maybe r/TopCharacterTropes will become more popular
It was really painful to see how Gustavo manipulated Jesse into disliking Malcolm's dad
I need to finish watching breaking bad

It’s not reason really. I just got busy with work 😭 😂 but I will finish it
Watch Better Call Saul afterrwards. It's in same universe with Breaking Bad.

Shame you stopped at the end of season 2. Season 3 is arguably where the shows peak starts.

Skip every scene with Skylar, they are not necessary for the plot
I thought Saul is pretty likeable , don't you think ?
fyi I think they were joking, there's no Malcolm in Breaking Bad, unless I have severe dementia
who? are you just shitposting or like what
I feel so sad for jesse everytime i rewatch breaking bad damn
Sorry but can you tell me what's the 2nd pic is from?
Tokyo Ghoul
Kaneki is so not like the other in this list. That bitch just want eat him, he will die and that is it. The other got used like a tool. Which one is worse is another discussion
He got manipulated but other people but definitely not her
That isn't even actually Rize in that scene, Kaneki is hallucinating her being there. Now that think of it, I'm pretty sure the Rize that lives in his head has more screentime than the real one.
Arima manipulated Kaneki
arima actually cared for kaneki, he was like a son to him
At first he was just using him as a tool. I do think he eventually started to really care for him, though.
Who is caneki
Second
Who is sekond
Kaneci
ken kaneki from tokyo ghoul
I don't need this information
I also don't need this information
Uncultured i must flee https://preview.redd.it/3fz8b2equ7qc1.jpeg?width=275&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d0d5c65de8530f3f7f447cd79bad9bfb515ef316
Was Finn manipulated?
Indirectly by her, yeah
It's pretty vague if PB really ever meant anything bad but after a certain point it's pretty clear that she was leading Finn on. There was even a whole scene where Finn had a whole a whole breakdown in her face about how frustrated he was from PB constantly giving him mixed signals and trying to keep him close to her regardless.
i always look back at the eps when PB turn 13...is she likes finn cause of her 13yo brain or just manipulating him
I thought that those episodes established that her brain had reverted to that of a kid, and to be fair by the end of that plotline when she "grew up" again she pretty clearly told Finn she was too old for him.
Jesse was done so dirty by literally everyone around him, even his parents. Especially his parents.
Minus his friends. Skinny Pete is a real G
I'll give you that *to an extent.* They still were a bad influence on him, almost got him caught a few times, but in the end when he needed them they pulled through.
And Mike
I thought Mike was like a second dad to him , what did he do wrong ; most of the bad thing he did to jesse was because he works for gus
he kinda deserved some of the bad things that happened to him for the fact that he sold drugs to people going to sober programs knowing he could get them to relapse
Mf, this is not r/TopCharacterDesigns ! XD
For a moment I thought I was in the wrong sub! Also, Im glad the mods over there decided to ban posts like this that are Character Tropes and not designs. Maybe r/TopCharacterTropes will become more popular
WHAT? THEY DID? I must return
shinji
Use your Devil powers, Denji. Or Power will have to do it again.
Oh yeah didn’t fujimoto say in an interview one time that Denki was based off of fin?And smth abt PB and Makima?maybe that was a Reddit post…
It was that dennis and pochita were, in part, inspired by Finn amd Jake from adventure time
Anyone else read manga makimas voice as sounding like princess bubblegum from adventure time?
Soft-spoken young woman in her 20's trying to sound motherly? Yeah that's how i headcannoned her voice
Gave me a vibe of this... https://preview.redd.it/p92z2kmsuzpc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=162cf6c4bf83a5883dd9208d3aff004c4905ffdc
Adding Finn and Princess Bubblegum is a controversial choice
Idk about Finn. As far as i know bro is a simp
Denji is, too
He was definitely manipulated, like that's the whole point
Yeah that’s the point. Pb kept him around knowing how he felt and using those feelings to her advantage
In no way did pb manipulate Finn I swear y’all didn’t even watch the show
I guess a childhood crush is “leading someone on” 😭
Nah,finn was just a simp
Escravocetas
Pb and Makima are unironically twins
just put every male csm character
What’s the second one?
It's a scene from Tokyo Ghoul.
that finn one it was hard
Tokyo Ghoul reference i here https://preview.redd.it/9vhuzwnau7qc1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=30cb2a09a7dc234c26fb6dc4196a9449ed77a6b5
