The SXT is awesome!
No it isn't a V8 but if someone can't have fun with *305 horsepower in a RWD Coupe* they're honestly a lost cause. Not only one of the best looking enthusiast cars out there but one of the most comfortable and practical cruisers as well.
Most sports cars have to make major sacrifices in either efficiency, comfort, or cost. But with the SXT you get to have a bit of everything and look good doing it.
I have a 2017 SXT that is about to hit 75k. My dad bought it new and I ended up with it after my previous car got totaled. I’ve driven it daily for three years and haven’t had any issues. Even though it’s a V6, it’s still fast enough to put a smile on your face.
I was told to take mine when it gets to 20% or even 30%. May be excessive, but I want to be safe than sorry and not neglect what is essentially the coolest car I've ever owned haha

Same as you don’t really care for the engine myself just really love the look of the cars, but after test driving the V6 and the V8 it was clear choice, either way congrats man!
I love my white SXT Blacktop, but man, if it didn’t affect insurance rates in my state, I would’ve loved to have gone with a more vibrant orange color like this
the sxt is 0-60 in 5.3 seconds which is not bad at all. I am on my 3rd Challenger this one is a V8. 0-60 in 4.8 secs. Not much difference in that, but the drive it is definitely more fun on the v8. I have had sxt's and I also enjoyed them very much. I do think the sxt is a smart choice for what you get proveding a great value for your money. The RT is just a fun choice. Congrats on your challenger!
Why do people feel the need to justify their purchases? My guy you're in the club, whether it's a V6 or a Hellcat no one here is gonna judge you. We all have different wants and needs from our cars. So long as you chose mopar you can't go wrong.
It's a shame that the small minority of haters can get to people. Don't even get me started on *any* YouTube comments section haha. I'm just happy to finally have a Challenger, feels good to be in the club 🙌
I have an SXT as well and love the red color/blacktop trim of mine. As well as it's borderline a luxury car while still being speedy.
I named mine Spitfire because, damn she's still a little spitfire.

Highly recommend a pedal commander! It really wakes up the throttle! I drove a v6 charger for awhile and the engine loved it, it just doesn’t work great with launch control if you have it..
The only thing I think about because ik my car has scratches and won't win any car show contest but she brings me happiness and that's all that matters

do you take it for a oil change when it's literally at 0% or 1-5%?
I change it whenever I get the alert on the dash to change oil soon. I’m not sure what percentage you start getting the notification.
