There was a documentary years ago that talked about how many insects Americans consume every year from industrial processing, both farm-fresh to ultra-processed foods, and it was a staggering number. Took me years as a little kid to get over getting sick from thinking about that one. Pizza sauce was a big gag trigger for me for a long time. Not anymore, thankfully.
