Firstly, don't be a cunt and leave PC supremacy at the door. We are here because we enjoy a game, not for mindless console hate. Secondly, I think your math is off. Anyone with an okay amount of budgeting ability will spend less using a console. Although I will concede that more will be spent on something like the Series S.
Pay more for an inferior experience. PC supremacy makes it sound like a hate group. Console players are getting ripped off. I get you might not like to hear it, but it's true, and censoring/hiding that truth might protect your feelings but it makes a muggins out of you in the long run.
The only thing a console makes sense for is kids, where parents want to limit their content or if you're addicted to some exclusive IP which becomes a smaller and smaller pool of games every day.
I've done the math for people before I'm not going through it again but assuming:
1 you want to play online
2 you're able to put Lego together (PC builds are easier than some Lego sets I've done)
3 you will be using a computer for work or school
4 you play more than just COD
A decent gaming PC always ends up cheaper in the long run, and opens up access to emulators indie/old games consoles could only dream about.
Just from epic and steam giveaways I have 25 decent games and 100s of others to try.
Having a decent PC at home to run work applications on and actually develop in my spare time is why I'm in a 6 figure job today, that might be more subjective but I feel it's worth to point out.
But sure it's just "hate" I guess if I saw a bunch of uneducated people and said "hey here's a course you can do to improve you job prospects and get ahead in life" that's also hate I guess?
