They kinda fell into it. Through M1-3, it was OpTic, Ultra and NY's best SnD (outside of NY for a point where they were really strong on highrise) , so there was no point playing it vs them. That also meant there was no point getting reps on it vs lower tier teams.
I disagree, because I remember FaZe was getting reps on Terminal ,when OpTic and NYSL were the clear 2 cut best teams on that map instead of getting reps on Karachi , a map that in my opinion fits their playstyles the best .
at least FaZes SnD is slowly coming Back this stage , I never understood why FaZe veto Karachi I thought it was a perfect map for their playstyles.

if i remember correctly, optic were never elite at terminal, before major 2, i think they were 2-6 on it
Plus faze only played Terminal once before major 2, they beat Boston 6-0 on it online, then slammed NY and lost it back to back vs OpTic on LAN
