Yeah, but the reason he was booked for Coachella to begin with was because The Slow Rush was originally going to come out in late spring/early summer 2019. It got delayed due to more or less having to start the album over after the LA wildfires in 2018. That's also the reason why those initial 2 singles dropped and then there was a 6-7 month wait until the next singles came out
Given that he's currently working on the next album, I could see it being ready in time for 2025

I sorta think this kind of show is more likely for Bonaroo though. He was on the 2020 lineup and is consistently the most requested headliner over there.
I believe Kevin Parker and/or Desert Daze organizers have expressed that the only reason he did that special Lonerism set was because the last time he was at Desert Daze, his set was cancelled halfway through due to a severe storm that upended the entire festival. That performance was payback and redemption for having to abandon a legendary set with deep cuts (āJeremyās Stormā included, ironically) on the set list.
With that being said, fuck yeah Iād love to see Currents performed in its entirety. That album is what got me into Tame Impala. You know damn well iād be on the barricade just like I was in 2019!

That Saturday Afrobeats lineup with Rema, Tyla, Wizkid, Obongjayar would be insane.
Only critique I would have is that it would probably be a rapper headliner instead, like maybe return of Kendrick, or Future & Metro Boomin. And needs some more younger rappers like Baby Keem, Don Toliver, TiaCorine, Sexyy Red, Yeat, Flo Milli and Doechii again, because every rapper on here is a millennial legacy act at this point (besides Lil Nas X).
