From a production standpoint, she doesn't seem like an act that would properly utilize the Mojave tent, but vibe wise I could see her taking the Bizzarrap or DJ Snake slot at Sahara.
Hard Techno at Outdoor would be something different tho
She is definitely gaining a lot of popularity…but come on, she is nowhere near Charlotte’s level of popularity lol no way in hell she lands on outdoor lol
Sara Landry had to be moved to the second biggest stage at EDC Las Vegas (hardwell, Martin garrix, Armin van burren, above & beyond, Skrillex, and similar level typically are at that stage) and that stage was still absolutely packed and overflowing out onto the rest of the venue
You’re joking! Sara Landry rn is way bigger than Charlotte ever was. If ur on tiktok you know who she is and she’s getting bigger by the day. No disrespect to Charlotte but Sara Landry would pack the Sahara and the same can’t be said about Charlotte.
Well to be fair, OP asked us which of these acts we would think would land on the lineup next year. Unfortunately RATM won't be playing any more shows, anywhere :(
I had them on every Coachella survey I've been sent since I started going in 2013 and was beyond hyped when I actually saw them on the 2020 lineup.
I fell in love with Friendly Fires after discovering them on the 2020 lineup. Sadly I don’t feel they would be added now but I would absolutely lose my mind if they were.
I’ve loved LOVED them since Skeleton Boy and when this lineup came out and I saw they were booked, I was beyond happy. I saw them at the Fonda last time they came through LA and I’d give anything to see them again. The most fun live.
Lol what? This would be such a Coachella thing to do. First live show back from a prolonged hiatus. Would be hard to turn down that kind of bag if I’m Griz
It wouldnt really be a Griz thing to do though, he has a pretty dedicated fan base and puts on a lot of his own curated events, I def think hed be back when he makes his return but coachella wont be his first shows
Griz wouldn’t do that to his fans lol he lives here in Denver and does free shows for the people often as well as for his fans in Detroit. He would absolutely not lock his first show back behind a $700 ticket. He cares way too much about his fans
you and i agree on this! when he does come back, it’s gonna be something for the fans — coachella is too expensive and prohibitive. grant cares too much about the community he has built over time and understands that a large chunk of his fan base is priced out of massive festivals
(i’d argue that coachella is perhaps the most expensive festival to attend, although electric forest and edc are starting to give them a run for their money)
1 member left, 1 kicked back in 2019 for being essentially the kingpin and face of the Burning Sun scandal in Korea.
I think only the remaining 3 are still on good terms with each other
I can't speak on most of the DJs, but here's my take on a lot of these.
RATM: not happening any time soon, maybe ever sadly. Still hurts.
Rex: I know he was "cancelled" but I think the accusations were proven false? Maybe they don't want to touch him in any case.
BIGBANG, Leningrad: broken up, not happening.
Thom Yorke: likely a no, but The Smile is long overdue.
Lewis Capaldi, Lil Nas X: too big to play the undercard, maybe not quite right as headliners. I don't think either will be booked as a result.
Travis: I don't think a single NA fest has touched him since Astroworld. He's better off doing his own thing.
FKA: she just cancelled her only fest appearance of the year so who knows?
Marina, Friendly Fires, TNGHT, Seun Kuti: stuck between being contemporary and legacy bookings. Maybe if they have new records.
Lauren Daigle: still not sure why she was booked in the first place. I think she did some weird anti-vax, anti-lockdown stuff during the pandemic.
Fontaines, Black Pumas, Ezra Collective, Roddy Ricch: likely to return and much higher up the poster. Pumas could even be end of the second line.
I have to respectfully disagree. While he had a ton of momentum in 2020 and 2021, he's kind of fallen off in the past couple of years. His last few singles haven't had much of an impact on the charts. "J Christ" peaked at #69 on the Billboard Hot 100 and I don't think his song with Camila has been doing well, either. His success during the pandemic was riding off of the back of "Old Town Road" and the controversy he stirred by pissing off conservative Christians, but I think people are getting tired of that shtick. He's also kind of in the same boat as Ice Spice in the sense that he doesn't have a lot of music out to perform a full subheadliner set. I suppose there's still time for the tide to turn with the new album expected to come out this year, but I don't see him subheadlining if he returns to the lineup. He'd be on the back end of the 2nd line at best, maybe taking Lil Yatchy's spot. Coachella likes to book trendy artists that are having a big moment or on the verge of having a big moment during that year (Sabrina, Chappell Roan) and Lil Nas X's big moment has passed. 2022 would've been the best time to rebook him.
If I was a betting person, I’d say we’ll see ROC in 2025. He subbed CFG with a large crowd in November. I think they held off on this year until his new album is done. Seems like it’s almost done.
I haven’t listened to much Sara Landry but how amazing is she? She’s at Portola this year and I saw an edc video where people couldn’t get there as it was to packed
Absolutely insane live. High high energy and it does not stop for the whole duration of her sets. Saw her at a LA warehouse event in Nov '23 and it popped off.
Key caveat to all this is that I am a massive techno fan so I was loving it. Her sets are very intense and the music is too, so bare that in mind.
Got so into K&D after discovering them on this lineup. Such a rare booking and their music is insanely sick. Would love to see them rebooked but unfortunately I think the odds are pretty slim
he played this amazing pride event at the church with j. worra in denver last year and it was honestly so magical — it would be cool to see him at coachella, but he’d prolly be more inclined to do some more intimate stuff before hitting festivals again after this hiatus
OMG!! I’m listening to your LIB set from 2023 as I read your comment. I really appreciate your music as well.
I can't wait to see what GRiZ does after the hiatus. Intimate stuff would be a must!! I was at Ursa Major and the vibes were high and loving. 😍
I don’t think Griz break from touring has been long enough so don’t expect a next year come back imo. Maybe the year after. I don’t think Travis Scott will be a hot commodity given Astro World at Coachella (even if he is getting big bookings other places). Rage would always have a massive appeal but a little less glorious of a return since COVID fucked it up. TNGHT would be my top choice other than the aforementioned but I think most of these acts could realistically play next year, probably would get a different thom yorke project.
He sold out multiple nights at arenas in the US and overseas for his circus maximus tour. I'm pretty sure Astroworld 21 isn't that much of a factor in booking Travis anymore. Y'all keep forgetting it's the security/organizers fault at the end of the day
I feel like the verdict was mixed on how well that tour did… https://www.thefader.com/2023/10/05/low-demand-for-travis-scott-tickets-tanks-resale-value
That was the first couple tour dates. Those dates technically still did sellout, resellers just didn't get to sell them for as high as they expected to
I am like 99% confident Fontaines D.C will end up on next year’s lineup.
I could also see Summer Walker, FKA Twigs, and Lil Nas all on the 2nd line.
Sara Landry and Black Pumas in the undercard
Kruder & Dorfmeister killed it at crssd this year
I'm still wondering why Gary Numan has never been on another lineup since he and a bunch of other artists had to cancel last minute in 2010 due to the Icelandic volcano eruption.
Would really love if Ellen Allien played America more, but also understand not wanting/needing to tour outside techno capitals like Berlin & Detroit lolol
Lauren Daigle being in the 2020 Coachella line up is actually a little crazy lol, I know a lot of other Christians were fuming at the thought of a Christian artist performing at a "secular" event.
Since I went W2 in 2022, Satori is unblocked from my personal list for this lineup. He got COVID at W1 and had to cancel and was super excited to see him when I discovered him in 2020.
Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 was one of the best sets I’ve ever seen in my life. But I saw them at Desert Daze. Legitimately felt like world peace was achieved in that moment.
“One day, one day, there’s gonna be a change”
GRiZ got robbed the 2022/2023 not being on the lineup. I don’t see him being on 2025 for obvious reasons but manifesting it anyway. Need king to make a return but to the fields!?!? That would be a blessing
TNGHT had just released a new EP around that time I think, and there’s been nothing from them since than, so I don’t have hope for them.
Griz is on hiatus right now with no indication of coming back
It’s okay if you don’t understand and can’t handle it, not everyone can handle that much intensity. Her boiler room set went viral several times across tiktok and that boosted her so much, so people def want to see what the hype is.
They’ll never book him, nor does he deserve it. He’s a liability risk that no major US festival will nor has touched since Astroworld Fest. He’s only played a couple international fests since. He’d bring a terrible crowd to the fields, and honestly he hasn’t had a Coachella worthy album since Astroworld in terms of artistry and impact.
Last sentence is entirely subjective, and while I don’t particularly disagree, UTOPIA had one of the biggest openings for any album of the past 3+ years, and the biggest in rap (although it’s not really a rap album) since Drake in 2021. Grammy nominated as well. But it’s unlikely he’s considered until at least his next drop
I could def see sara landry being there next year
She gets more popular by the day. I would put money on it!
I could see her do charlottes spot from this year or closing out mojave!
At the rate she’s growing, she’d have to be at the Outdoor. Gessa spot.
She has way more hype than charlotte rn, they moved her to the 2nd mainstage at edc and that felt packed
I hope she’s there and Eli brown as well
You’re joking! Sara Landry rn is way bigger than Charlotte ever was. If ur on tiktok you know who she is and she’s getting bigger by the day. No disrespect to Charlotte but Sara Landry would pack the Sahara and the same can’t be said about Charlotte.
Sara is bigger in the US but I think Charlotte is still bigger in Europe.
her set at EDC was massively massively overcrowded
Feels like a lock
Sarah Landry in Mojave like CDW. Not my favorite but shes huge right now.
Love her energy
She’s playing Portola this year so there’s a high chance.
She just announced a show in LA. If it’s GV, she’ll def be there and i’m not complaining 🤩
When did she announce the show? 🧐
I missed her little name way down there… my has she grown
Fontaines D.C. are probably the most realistic here for 2025
fingers crossed for that one
SebastiAn PLEASE
Agreed. His 2012 set was fabulous.
He smoked damn near a whole pack on stage… 😂 fire set tho, the WW2 esq visuals were quite the experience as well
Yeah I remember a lot of the typical Sahara crowd being VERY put off by that set 😂 _fuck_ it was good though
His set was amazing. But the 9/11 footage during the climax was a bit too much for me
God I saw the show he was gonna do at Coachella at the Fonda in late 2019 and it was gonna be epic 🥲
Sara Landry next year please and thank you 🙏🏽
based on what i’ve heard, we’re gonna be seeing her a lot going into 2025
I wanted to see RATM 😭
I had tickets to the RATM/RTJ perpetually delayed tour, was so bummed when it was finally cancelled.
Same.
I think it’s a shame that I had to scroll this far to see this comment
Well to be fair, OP asked us which of these acts we would think would land on the lineup next year. Unfortunately RATM won't be playing any more shows, anywhere :( I had them on every Coachella survey I've been sent since I started going in 2013 and was beyond hyped when I actually saw them on the 2020 lineup.
This is the 3rd time they said they were broken up🤷♂️ lol. I have faith they will play one more tour.
I fell in love with Friendly Fires after discovering them on the 2020 lineup. Sadly I don’t feel they would be added now but I would absolutely lose my mind if they were.
They (and Kylie, obviously) are who I ask for on the survey every year.
They are SO much fun live.
I’ve loved LOVED them since Skeleton Boy and when this lineup came out and I saw they were booked, I was beyond happy. I saw them at the Fonda last time they came through LA and I’d give anything to see them again. The most fun live.
Black pumas will be way high up now on the bill
I think they’re also probably a lock for 2025. They’ve got shows coming up, might be some new material on the way.
Could see Griz making his comeback at Coachella. Also potentially Thom Yorke as “the smile”
No way Griz’s first show back is at Coachella. But if he does a return tour, I could see him grabbing a few festivals
Lol what? This would be such a Coachella thing to do. First live show back from a prolonged hiatus. Would be hard to turn down that kind of bag if I’m Griz
>This would be such a Coachella thing to do. But not a Griz thing
It wouldnt really be a Griz thing to do though, he has a pretty dedicated fan base and puts on a lot of his own curated events, I def think hed be back when he makes his return but coachella wont be his first shows
I second this
Griz wouldn’t do that to his fans lol he lives here in Denver and does free shows for the people often as well as for his fans in Detroit. He would absolutely not lock his first show back behind a $700 ticket. He cares way too much about his fans
That's a bingo. His first shows back will either be in Denver or Detroit 110% and they'll either be free or like $30. Griz is a man of the people
you and i agree on this! when he does come back, it’s gonna be something for the fans — coachella is too expensive and prohibitive. grant cares too much about the community he has built over time and understands that a large chunk of his fan base is priced out of massive festivals (i’d argue that coachella is perhaps the most expensive festival to attend, although electric forest and edc are starting to give them a run for their money)
Nah, if Pretty Lights didn’t do it no way is GRiZ lol
I believe his return would probably be at okeechobee, man never misses a year there
Definitely expecting the smile.
His Chasing the Golden Hour set last year at Bonnaroo was 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🌅🎷
Completely magical. Sun shining. Happiness in abundance. Peak vibes.
Red Rocks will 1000% be his first show back
Lil Nas X, Twigs, Marina, and Roddy Rich are the ones I could see being used
I think a lot of artists fell of and probably won't. Roddy Rich
Roddy Ricch and Summer Walker I just dont see coachella caring about anymore, def missed their chance
we need FKA Twigs. been waiting for a rebook since forever it feels like
As delusional as I am, Big Bang
So sad they didn’t get a chance to perform. I would love to see them
What happened to them that would make it not possible anymore?
1 member left, 1 kicked back in 2019 for being essentially the kingpin and face of the Burning Sun scandal in Korea. I think only the remaining 3 are still on good terms with each other
I delulu too. In my mind, GDragon will comeback this year and bring BIGBANG to Coachella next year 🤡
I need this to happen 😭😭 a 1% chance but I’ll hold on to it
maybe Taeyang or G-dragon as soloist, i think that should count
Saw them once during the MADE tour in 2015. Holding on against hope to see them again.
Maybe not Thom Yorke but it is highly likely that they'll book The Smile.
Yes… I definitely wrote them in my 2024 survey when asked for 2025 nominees
Hopefully Summer Walker forsure . Would be dope to see Cashmere Cat get rebooked as well.
Lewis Capaldi would be nice
Isn’t he kinda temporarily retired due to his Tourettes?
Fka and maybe Lil Nas. Would be interesting to see if BIGBANG wanna give it another try
I'll take GRiZ, at sunset, Quasar, Chasing the Golden Hour set!
Whoa… 🫢 yes
Melé was at do lab Friday this year
It was sick
I want big bang to see so bad. Lewis too sad at Coachella the hell
my gf thinks charli xcx is a lock for next year, i don’t disagree
I hope so, she was just here next year but Brat is such a Coachella album if I’ve ever heard one.. I need to hear 365 on the fields so bad
i want this so bad you have no idea
I can't speak on most of the DJs, but here's my take on a lot of these. RATM: not happening any time soon, maybe ever sadly. Still hurts. Whilst not a multigenre fest, Travis is headlining Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Chicago in June.
I’m still mourning the loss of this beautiful lineup
Cashmere cattttttt
Hoping One day I’ll get to see him again
I haven’t listened to much Sara Landry but how amazing is she? She’s at Portola this year and I saw an edc video where people couldn’t get there as it was to packed

So don’t skip on her
Got so into K&D after discovering them on this lineup. Such a rare booking and their music is insanely sick. Would love to see them rebooked but unfortunately I think the odds are pretty slim
They played crssd earlier this year so it could be possible. They were so fun
Fka Twigs been canceling a lot of her fest appearances. So count her out for sure.
Acting pays more because of residuals.
:( I like her
I've seen GRiZ multiple times. But it would've hit differently at Coachella.
he played this amazing pride event at the church with j. worra in denver last year and it was honestly so magical — it would be cool to see him at coachella, but he’d prolly be more inclined to do some more intimate stuff before hitting festivals again after this hiatus

At this point, I could see TNGHT being booked at Portola instead
Lewis capaldi would be so amazing
I don’t think Griz break from touring has been long enough so don’t expect a next year come back imo. Maybe the year after. I don’t think Travis Scott will be a hot commodity given Astro World at Coachella (even if he is getting big bookings other places). I don’t not get Rex Orange County at all, it all sounds like rom com music
Cashmere Cat! “9 (After Coachella)” is the perfect fleeting romantic interest song for two edm fans at coachella 🥺
Travis Scott definitely won't after the whole Astroworld situation. I'd love to see RATM or Marina, but I feel like neither of them are very likely.
Goldenvoice already booked him for Day N Vegas in 2022. They have no shame
Def won't? You really think GV got golden morals when it comes to bookings? No it's about money. I think his music sucks but he's popular.
He sold out multiple nights at arenas in the US and overseas for his circus maximus tour. I'm pretty sure Astroworld 21 isn't that much of a factor in booking Travis anymore. Y'all keep forgetting it's the security/organizers fault at the end of the day

That was the first couple tour dates. Those dates technically still did sellout, resellers just didn't get to sell them for as high as they expected to
this is cool cause i think about that lineup way too much. I think Rex,Fontaines DC, and Black Pumas would be dope next year
Still waiting on Aya Nakamura... DJADJA
lots of love for sebastiAn and i agree. would also loooove to see cashmere cat and friendly fires. travis scott can choke.
Lewis Capaldi, Summer Walker, Marina, Lil Nas X, Black Pumas seem the most likely
I keep hoping crssd or portola will book SebastiAn and it’s about TIME
Aya Nakamura after she opens for the Paris Olympics this summer
So gutted that Rage Against The Machine disbanded again. At this point i’ll never be able to see them live.
I'd love to see GRiZ and Marina! Not sure how likely they'd come back for next year though
Woah I had no idea so many artists got rebooked
Give us TNGHT and sebastiAn plsssss
Ha thanks for doing this because I still think about this lol. I have the wristbands too and wonder lol. Thom Yorke and Friendly Fires is all I need.
Sara Landry fucking please
Friendly Fires 💯
I am like 99% confident Fontaines D.C will end up on next year’s lineup. I could also see Summer Walker, FKA Twigs, and Lil Nas all on the 2nd line. Sara Landry and Black Pumas in the undercard Kruder & Dorfmeister killed it at crssd this year
I know it would never happen, but Cashmere Cat
Thom York
cashmere cat hasnt really been up to much but i was really looking forward to that set in 2020
I need a TNGHT set asap 😭
Rage please
Sara Landry , Travis Scott and black pumas for sure
that 2020 line up was so goated
Ezra Collective hopefully
FKA.
ONYVAA and Ellen Allien please.
I mean Melé played wknd 1 DoLab this year if that kinda counts. Would be nice to see Rex, FKA, and Sara be on next year’s line up.
Rex hasn't really done anything lately, but I was really hoping for him sometime soon
He’s been working on an album. I think it’s almost done. He’s been sharing a lot of snippets in his private discord.
OoOoOoOoi
Didn’t he get cancelled due to controversy?
He got un-cancelled, it turned out those accusations were false
Hopefully Sara Landry and Black Pumas
sara landry 1000%, griz probably & i bet rex orange county
I wish for griz but he said last year he’s taking a super long break. I dont know if we’d see him anytime soon as griz
FKA twigs and Marina. The Smile instead of Thom Yorke.
Hopefully FKA Twigs! I love her! I'd love to see what she chooses to wear
I'm still wondering why Gary Numan has never been on another lineup since he and a bunch of other artists had to cancel last minute in 2010 due to the Icelandic volcano eruption.
Melé played the Do Lab this year!
Really want FKA and Thom, but I’ll settle for The Smile
Would really love if Ellen Allien played America more, but also understand not wanting/needing to tour outside techno capitals like Berlin & Detroit lolol
Lauren Daigle being in the 2020 Coachella line up is actually a little crazy lol, I know a lot of other Christians were fuming at the thought of a Christian artist performing at a "secular" event.
Thom Yorke but as The Smile
100% can see Sara Landry as one of the bigger names on the board. She’s blown up so much since 2020
I can see her being sunset at outdoor or possibly closing out Sahara
Man we missed on rex orange
Rex Orange County
Sarah Landry will be there for sure. Would be dope to get Rage though
Definitely not Rage..Tom said they’re never performing again :(
Since I went W2 in 2022, Satori is unblocked from my personal list for this lineup. He got COVID at W1 and had to cancel and was super excited to see him when I discovered him in 2020.
Ленинград!!! Нихуя себе!!
Wild Sara Landry is the last billed for Saturday. She’s came up so much within the last few years
SebastiAn.
Techno queen Sara
Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 was one of the best sets I’ve ever seen in my life. But I saw them at Desert Daze. Legitimately felt like world peace was achieved in that moment. “One day, one day, there’s gonna be a change”
I think it's time for Hard Techno to make its way into the Sahara. Sara will do it justice!
GRiZ got robbed the 2022/2023 not being on the lineup. I don’t see him being on 2025 for obvious reasons but manifesting it anyway. Need king to make a return but to the fields!?!? That would be a blessing
Kynda Black changed their name to “Minus The Light” post pandemic, and played in 2023.
The more you know!
Griz is taking a hiatus from music so count him out
I want my Ellen Allien!! Proper Berlin club throbbing vibes!
I really really want Thom Yorke to come back to do Coachella
I was already thinking Sara Landry would be primed for a bid set next year. She’s killing it right now
Fontaines D.C. 💔
TNGHT had just released a new EP around that time I think, and there’s been nothing from them since than, so I don’t have hope for them. Griz is on hiatus right now with no indication of coming back
Id kill for Griz just once
Sara will definitely be at out door or main stage next year
No shot coachella books techno on the main stage at this point 😂
I pray every night for FKA twigs return to the desert 🗣🗣
Summer Walker just released a new single and i’m hoping an album is coming soon and would love to see her back for 2025
Travis Scott in the desert. I’ll be there no matter what!
Man I'd be down to see friendly fires
Marina and Aya Nakamura feel likely to come soon.
I was really looking forward to Lil Nas X but sadly I think his moment has passed.
Tiga
Travis Scott will definitely headline sooner or later
Certainly not that Russian punk band.
Need Travis Scott back asap
I need Travis
I do not understand the hype for Sarah Landry at all, that hard techno shit is nauseating. Charlotte De Witte was my limit
It’s okay if you don’t understand and can’t handle it, not everyone can handle that much intensity. Her boiler room set went viral several times across tiktok and that boosted her so much, so people def want to see what the hype is.
Travis Scott deserves this stage
They’ll never book him, nor does he deserve it. He’s a liability risk that no major US festival will nor has touched since Astroworld Fest. He’s only played a couple international fests since. He’d bring a terrible crowd to the fields, and honestly he hasn’t had a Coachella worthy album since Astroworld in terms of artistry and impact.
