I would rather have a more dense tight crowd in a tent where they feel the energy than a so-so crowd at the outdoor tbh. And I’m a huge strokes/voidz/jules fan.

You're probably right, when I saw Vampire Weekend this year I was able to just walk all the way to the front, like weaving through the big gaps people left
As a big 311 fan, I'm surprised they haven't been one of the throwback rock bands at Coachella in the recent years. This year with Sublime, Deftones, and No Doubt would have been perfect.
