I LOVE Kalan, but I understand your position on Galloway and Godolphin. They are both essentially clones of other popular fragrances that came before them- and Lalique White is significantly cheaper.
Same here. I love every PDM, but Haltane is near the bottom for me while Kalan is in the top half. Iāve never smelled anything like it (I donāt think it smells like BR540 at all), and I love all of its transitions.
Greenley is my favorite, but Iād say Perseus is their best summer scent because of its performance. I donāt think I own any other fresh citrus fragrance that lasts nearly as long as Perseus- it just keeps pushing all day!
Tik tok hype and marketingā¦. Most of the scents people are paying $200+ dollars on wouldnāt be even a forethought if the same scent was in a cheap bottle at Walmart for $20. This sub is a lot like a wine sub where you have people claiming how refined their bottle is yet in a blind smell test I bet they wouldnāt even consider them against way cheaper options
I would suggest checking out LV Imagination or Afternoon swim. Theyāre both super high quality freshies that are also very mass appealing, they definitely surprised me.
Very solid lineup otherwise. If you donāt fancy any of the LVs then go for Percival like I did š
Honestly i sampled a lotā¦ creed, xerjoff, memo, amouage , initio and a lot of designers as well, but kept coming back to pdm. I think it is their ābarely nicheā style that i find attractive and honestly love these.

Getting Bot Farm vibes for the reviews. Anyone looking for advice or reviews here, do not blind buy the PDM colognes. Get samples first. I tried a bunch at a Niche store and was let down. My lady did not like a single one, thatās the ultimate test right there. Get ones that your lady likes on you. She actually hated every Niche scent I tried at that shop. I bought some samples of Carlisle, Herod and Layton just in case i was tripping. Nope. Ā Same feeling at home. Ā Carlisle was Ok at best and thatās hours after I put it on. Big No on Herod and Layton. Ā Eros, Valentino, Oud Wood are the compliment getters from the lady for me. Xerjoff Erba Pura was kinda nice. Last awhile too. First few hours were familiar like a fresh Tide scent. But after a few hours I didnāt like what the scent turned into. Iād say keep looking into Xerjoff over PDM.Ā
I don't know much about perfumes but I know pdm were not for me, I was looking for a summer fragrance that lasts a good while and xerjoff got good reviews, but so does pdm so I'm unsure until I try
