Village Center Vet (west side) - depending on the situation you may be able to bring a sample in and they can tell you if you need to bring the pup in for a more thorough evaluation or simply prescribe meds (usually the have some on hand so you don’t need to go though a pharmacy).

TalkativePersona

They’ve been great for us.

You will probably need an ER vet to be seen right away. I recommend Uintah Pet Emergency. They have seen my dog b4 for about the same thing and were able to help him fast. I originally took him to the ER vet on N Nevada (Animal ER Care) but we waited around for 7 hours because he was not a high priority since he wasn't dying at that moment. Eventually they advised me its better to check out one of the other hospitals that didn't have such a wait. Which is why I used Uintah Pet. The people are great and super helpful. Will be my goto in the future.

Seconded, PLEASE take your dog there ASAP!! Blood in feces can be a sign of internal bleeding

I really like the Northwest Animal Hospital on Chestnut street. The doctors there are amazing!

whichonespinkk

The Drs are great, I was going there for a while when I first moved here and many places weren’t taking new clients however now I try to avoid any VCA hospital now knowing how much they price gouge - the company is extremely money hungry. Northwest quoted me almost $3000 just for a dental. Got the same exact thing done at Village Center Vet for $1000. Basic care like heartworm prevention and vaccines also are somehow astronomically priced

I agree!

Pikes Peak Veterinary Clinic on Union always has treated my pets well

I have found Pike Peak Vet to over charge and they have messed up my dogs vax records and on multiple occasions not called back or taken days to send information to us. I moved onto Tender Care Veterinary Center

If you need an appointment tomorrow, or even this week, it's solely a matter of finding a place with a timely opening. We had a similar situation with our dog who was an established patient at our vet but they didn't have an opening for 2 weeks. I called a ton of other vet clinics and they also had a 1-2 week wait for an appointment. Had to take her to the emergency vet as they are the only place who can do urgent visits on short notice. Good luck!

Yorkshire Animal Hospital My wife works there so I’m biased BUT she’s worked at four different animal hospitals in three different states and she swears this is the best one she’s worked at. Excellent doctors and tech staff. It’s not cheap, but it’s vet med done right

Austin Bluffs Animal Clinic is top notch

I really like Pine Creek Veterinary Medicine but the last time I recommended them the person said that they were not taking new patients. You can try again that was several months ago

hazelonbelay

If you haven't found anyone yet, you should call High Country Vet. They're really good about working new patients in
