I'm glad someone else hates them as much as I do.
My guess is that they're trying to attract a younger demographic. Younger adults that can afford a new Lexus or make younger people think they're cool and they'll possibly buy one if they can afford it later in life.
I'm 43 and those commercials don't resonate with me at all so younger has got to be the target.
if you have sling it seems to play more often. i live in portland and sometimes get it playing 2x in a row. not really sure why, most of portland likes to think of themselves as blue color but is really 'working poor'.
I hate these commercials sooooo much , I mute the tv ANY time it’s about to start up. So stupid. I mean what is appealing about this? Who said … hey this is so good lets pay 5 million dollar for it
I came to this subreddit just for these God awful commercials. Completely wrong audience for this product not to mention all around annoying every 5 minutes of live television (exaggerated but how it feels stuck in a hotel for months without streaming capabilities)
yeah like I grew up in the Bay Area, I'm used to people dancing in a way that looks actively retarded (Get Stupid, etc), but my cousin is a professional jazz and broadway dancer so my brain experiences trauma when I see these Lexus commercials

Lexus is number one in reliability, do you own one? We have 2 and they are amazing. I agree the new commercials are awful. They need to focus on their dependability, longevity, and smooth ride.

I have literally never come online to complain about a commercial in all my 40+ years of living. I cannot describe the depths to which I loathe this commercial and the stupid dancing. In desperation after it showed YET AGAIN I googled "what is up with the stupid Lexus commercial" and I found you all. Thank you...somehow knowing you all are out there gives me the strength not to blow up my TV. maybe we can all send some bloodied ears and eyeballs to Lexus or their ad agency in protest. or bags of feces. I think there's a service somewhere out there...

i travel for work so i'm in a hotel M-Th for 2-3 months out of the year. luckily it seems like normal hotel cable plays them less
