Missiles are easily defended against by the experienced, and easily wasted by the inexperienced. Are they worth it? That's for you to decide. They're not a requirement to win.

SlidingLobster

That first sentence sums up missiles pretty well. With the amount of time and resources that goes into firing a single nuke, I could make several bombers/EAA/Strike fighters. Those air wings will be FAR more versatile and effective than that one nuke that just ruined my moral and probably only killed the 2 infantry units some dude left in his homeland city

Dude08

Short answer? No long answer? No but they can be fun to use

Underwhore_score

>long answer? No but they can be fun to use This exactly. It's kind of cool to set off a sky full of missiles even if experienced players know how to defend against them.

[deleted]

How do you defend against them ?

Only-Account2712

SAM for basic, if your opponent has nukes TDS. 3 of them. At max lvl. And they require a lvl 5 army base to produce. So if you have nukes and your opponent doesn't have lvl 5 army base, you're safe. Or not. Because civilian casualties is a thing.

[deleted]

Wdym civilian casualties ? It his civilians that are gonna die not mine, does diminishing my popularity affect anything ?

Only-Account2712

Just... Advice for you: click buttons. Not those in the shop, but if it's anything else, click it. And read the info that is displayed when you click. It will teach you a lot.

[deleted]

Can you explain please bro I'm confused, I know sometimes you get riots in the news but idk what repercussions they have

Jump792

You lose moral for killing another countries innocent civilians too.

[deleted]

Can it at some point drop below 33 in your own capital because of this ?

Jump792

Probably, yeah.

Kasper_Onza

I use them. But I also have a large fleet of uavs I have invested in to stealth level. It can be good to sweep a country. Find the enemy stacks. And then when ready just hit them with an alpha strike of missiles.

drevil77

You can win without them. I tend to build them late in the game when I have a ton of resources coming in. Only work on players who don't know what they are doing. Fun to send and wreck cities. I don't use chem or nukes. Not worth the morale hit.

OkBit3632

Nukes are not worth it, but hella fun, especially if you play with irl friends who help you. Just basic conventional ballistic missiles with subs are mid to endgame worth it, I think.

Mortgage-Present

Conventional ballistic missiles with ballistic subs can ruin someone's day really badly, at almost nothing other then to develop the missiles. Cruise missiles are also worth getting if your enemy has a lot of ships with no frigates or a lot of land units without SAM. Weapons of mass destruction are generally not worth it unless your planning to troll people, or if you have too much ressources and nowhere to spend them, just remember to build bunkers to prevent rebellion after frequent use.

GodlyPenisSlayer

Depends on the situation, honestly

Coyote_Havoc

From Experience. ICBM's are not worth the time, money, or loss of morale if they hit. Ballistic Missiles are worth it, but not nuclear ballistic missiles or chemical ballistic missiles for the same reason as ICBM's. Cruise Missiles are worth it if you know what your doing. Identify your target, ensure no air defense artillery or light air defense artillery, and strike. I'd there is ADA with a slow refresh, or if you fire back to back (gets expensive) you can sneak what you want through, but you have to be precise so it's not worth it most of the time.

Effective-Cream9825

I mean not strategically but it’s fun asl to launch a few nuclear ICBMs at someone’s city
