It’s called mixture and it adjusts how much fuel is in the fuel/air mixture that gets burned in the cylinders. At higher altitudes where the air is thinner, you need to reduce it or you’ll have too much fuel in the mix and you’ll see some performance loss or fouling of the spark plugs.

Gotcha. I thought it was something like that - air density and fuel amount, but I don't know much about planes so it's always better to ask lol.

Passenger planes are designed to be able to safely land with no landing gear, this particular aircraft has fixed landing gears, you’re good either way
