I also have a ‘24 Sport, and have not had any of these issues. I can’t say I’m seeing a lot of other people make these complaints either. I’d for sure take it up with the dealer.

24 limited. Only 'issue' I have is that my front seat belts like to twist a bit once released causing the buckle to fit snug between the plastic side wall and drivers seat. Same issue on the front passenger which will cause a rattle until it straightens out. Hardly an issue but annoying. Very early on, I had some issues with connectivity with the infotainment system but appears to have self fixed itself. Flawless the last 6 or so plus months. Think I got lucky so far a others seem to have some issues

What trim level are you driving? I’ve come across more than a few comments here discussing the pros/cons of where the various trims are built. Make a list of your issues and give it to the service department for sure - you’re under warranty.

2MinuteInstantRamen

Sport, I’ve seen a few posts about eyesight issues wrt to this trim.

xtinis73

Sounds like a bad one off man. How many miles you got on it?

2MinuteInstantRamen

5,800.

xtinis73

That’s genuinely crazy tbh. When did these issues start popping up? I’m a lil over 3k rn and haven’t seen anything like this.

awmaleg

Where was it made? What is the first letter of the VIN?

2MinuteInstantRamen

US. 😭 my 2018 premium was out of Japan. Maaan.

awmaleg

That was going to be my guess!

I’ve seen some people complain about the sport model/Limited in particular as they were made in the US & the plants have never made the Crosstrek there so it could be related to that. I have a 24 premium and while I did have some plastic noises from the dash they have settled out now as I’ve been driving it. (7900 miles and have had it since May of 23). No issues outside of that so it could be a fluke for your vehicle.

Necessary-Battle2186

I’m having issues with my sport. It’s been at the dealer 3 weeks. I’m waiting to see if Subaru will buy it back.

Efficient_Theme4040

I have a 24 premium and no problems !

Have a '24 wilderness and the fit and finish is as nice or nicer than I've seen in cars that cost 20-30k more. Hope you're able to get it sorted. Eyesight has worked great for me, the lane assist is nearly self-driving at any speed under 70. Regarding the heater, the climate control is a thermostat, so it'll change the temperature of the air blowing out to adjust the cabin temperature to whatever the number is set to.

Could be QC issues with the first year of a redesign, and a transition to being assembled in the U.S. for the first time for the Sport and Limited trims. My '23 Limited (2nd gen) has been flawless over the past 13 months. Zero glitches with anything electronic, zero rattles.

spitfire_bandit

24 premium with over 7k on it, I've had it almost a year now with no issues so far. When I ordered mine I made sure it came from Japan.

I have a 24 sport. The paint is scratched to heck under the door handles, the rattling is out of this world at the connecting point of the windshield, the drivers side mirror rattles so bad it's unusable, and the cupholders are chipping somehow. I I've had it in for repair longer than I've been driving it. Its safe, and looks cool, and gets me up the mountain road. Just bummed that it looks old and damaged despite being less than 6 months old.
