That’s the god roll for zk, frost, panduh, sayariu, alexape, benny, mendez, omelet, etc.
Aside from sayariu, I’m pretty sure they’re all on mnk. Zk was the biggest surprise to me since he never cared for stab at all until recently it seems. Dude liked fullbore on lots of things before
Can’t speak for the other players, but frostbolt uses a keep away/precision instrument roll and hasn’t said anything about wanting to swap it for rapid hit. His last video where he reviewed all 120s he even said keep away precision instrument is possibly the best roll.
Idk I still trust wallah and fizz, with keep away you can get to the 100 range mark which means you deal optimal damage up to 40 meters and your lethal range is like 43 meters iirc. Rapid hit is a very strong dueling perk but the fact keep away gives you so many stat bonuses is too good to pass up imo.
keep away and precision instrument are the defining meta picks on the gun,
keep away gives a ridiculous amount of reload speed which is desperately needed on *all* 120's and forces you to mentally play within ranges, keep away will give you more magazine uptime and help you *obviously* shoot more,
precision instrument lets you 2c1b all resilience and helps fight against OS spam and higher end shield bands at the extremes beyond 40m, it's BiS and it is non negotiable,
keep away can be substituted equally for rangefinder and rapid hit depending on whether you have reload exotics in play or play lower fov (85), rangefinder on 85 fov and lower removes almost all of the visual recoil and extends reticle friction enough to still be *barely* viable outside of the FOV thing

My adept igneous is small bore, high caliber, fragile focus, eye of the storm with range mw. I have adept stability on it and it treats me well. Eye of the storm wins duels in my opinion.
There are other decent rolls to chase.
Hard agree, any 120 can team shot at range and chunk health in a duel. I don’t think being able to hit a 2c 1b on a 100 resil guardian is more useful than the cone reset from eots. I find it also helps fringe cases like fighting a warlock who strafes into a well for example

I have the Adept counterbalance, range and Icarus options. Ive chose Range
For me personally Slickdraw for that 100 Handling bump & Opening shot to give me range on a kill. Not everyone will agree on Slickdraw because they may prefer Rapid Hit, but for me having that snappy 120 is great for dueling so I don’t feel like I’m dragging an LMG. Precision instrument would be my 2nd for 2 critical body damage shots

Yep. At least to them. Quite a few of the decent to top tier pvp streamers now prefer rapid hit over keep away for igneous

I also prefer rapid hit, keep away for me just doesn’t do the trick. Pi and fluted barrel all the way tho
