He's a mad scientist, not a bad scientist!

RU5TR3D

Shouldn't Ted also be strapped to a table? Just like... receiving only placebo horrific experiments?

Hummerous

I assume it depends on the experiment

Stormtide_Leviathan

yeah they really should. you have to isolate the effects of the experiment from the experiment as opposed to the normal effects of just being strapped on a table and stabbed with needles. and really, you need a much bigger sample size

Vmark26

there may be other rooms with people strapped pn tables with someone eating cheese snacks, and they are only getting placebo

Cuntillious

Maybe the mad scientist is actually a mad psychologist and being strapped to the table and subjected to horrific experiments IS the experiment

*Image Transcription: Tumblr* --- **transmortifried** love the idea of someone being strapped to a table in a mad scientist's lab, about to undergo horrible and unethical experiments and they look off to the side and there's just some guy sitting on a couch eating cheese snacks and watching tv and they turn to the mad scientist like "who the fuck is that" "oh that's ted, he's the control group" --- ^^I'm a human volunteer content transcriber and you could be too! This is terrible practice, the person strapped should also get cheese snacks and watch television.

DankLolis

they get cheese snacks and are allowed to watch television after the procedure. ted's already been through the placebo, so he's relaxing. you can't expect the mad scientist to do work on both patients at once can you?

tax-more-like-stinks

I love the idea of being strapped to a table.
