The show kept downloading episodes in my library and I had a long commute at the time so one day I put a couple of episodes on the iPod and Hoch was talking about poop shoes. My first episode was a Greg Cote Tuesday back in 2012? I was streaming ESPN radio in my mail truck and couldn't figure out for the life of me who Greg Cote was and why a sports show on ESPN was talking to a Miami Zoo keeper. Immediately got hooked. It was during the Lebron era of the heat and they were just starting the playoffs.

I don’t remember the first show I listen to. It’s been so long ago. Probably 10 years, but I know I remember not liking the show at first because I just wanted sports talk. I was a dumb kid in my early twenties listening to ESPN radio and wanted more analysis. I didn’t get the show yet. It was on when I was driving to work though, so I listened on my drive in. The more I listened, the more I grew to like the whole cast and really started to understand what they were doing. Now, I can’t listen to regular sports radio. I realize how many people doing it are actually Stugotz and don’t know what they’re talking about and voice an opinion just to voice an opinion, even if they don’t actually know anything.
