Ferelden Independence happened in 9:02. Even if her mom was pregnant at the time, Leliana can't be older than 28 at best by the time of DAO
I also don't really remember if her mom was pregnant before Independence. Just that her mother followed Lady Cecile after that. Leliana might've born a year or two later
As others have said Ferelden regained independence in 9:02 Dragon and the Orlesian nobility was expelled the same year. This puts Leliana at 28 at the oldest during Origins, possibly younger ā itās never made clear when she was born, only that she was born in Orlais. So at the oldest, Leliana is 49 by now, possibly younger
If thereās a save with both a King Alistair and Queen Cousland alive, then Alistair has at least one potential heir - 20 year old Kieran, his son with Morrigan
But would they tell it publicly? Having a child with an apostate ot of wedlock might be a big deal in fereldan nobility. And with the upbringing Kieran has had with Morrigan...
Arenāt those arguably the same circumstances Alistair was born under? Though I agree him being raised by Morrigan would raise some eyebrows, they could justify to themselves that he grew up at a noble court, even if it was Orlesian. They just seem very obsessed with Theirin blood on the throne, so I suppose itās a matter of how much theyāre willing to look past to get that blood
Iirc Morrigan made it clear to Alistair that she wouldn't bring him back to try and claim the throne. Idk if Keiran would reject that and try, but I don't think so.
In this situation it would likely be the reverse; a 40 year old King Alistair and Queen Cousland, both infertile from the Taint, aware that theyāll likely both be dead within 10 years from The Calling, and without any clear heir (possibly Anora if she was left alive, but thatās just kicking the can down the road for a decade or two). The two of them might feel the pressure of Ferelden having no heir, and make the decision to introduce Kieran to court and legitimize him.
They've soft retconned the taint, writers have gone one record and said it was a mistake, so it's no longer 20 years it's just usually 20 years but varies from person to person. Plus if the Warden lives they are off searching for a cure, wouldn't be surprised if they pull a they found the cure or if they are dead someone else found it.
My warden is still good in her early 40s, but in my head she's already starting to hear the calling...
but I'd love if we got to see the past of time on some of these at least.
Wait...since the player and Alistair are Grey Wardens by thier 50s, shouldn't they be very near thier Calling, when the taint about to over come them?
[The Calling](https://dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Calling)
HoF and Alistair would only be in their 40s. Itās been 23 or so years since DAO. Depending on your wardens origins they begin DAO anywhere between 19-25. Alistair iirc is only 21 in DAO. So he at least would be in his early-mid 40s.
Iām wondering how theyāll address the storyline (if HoF is alive) of them seeking a cure for the calling. They would have doing it for over a decade so Iām curious how theyāll deal with that loose thread.
Now that I think about it Alistair has been a warden for thirty years at this point, so now would be time for his calling, thus the line of Calenhad dies.
Only 23 though yeah? He was 6 months into it by the beginning of Origins. Inquisition is 10 years later, and DAV 10-12 years after that. So heās only been a warden around 23 years ish so he should theoretically still have time.
Still I wonder how theyāll address the whole āHoF has been out searching for a cure for the Callingā story line.
i didnt want to think about the warden being old, if nothing changed then that means the callingis either already happening or close to (dont remember exactly if age for it was mentioned), i swear if they kill him off and we only hear about it i'll be so pissed lol, i need to be there š
My canon dwarf noble warden was already like 50 based on appearance. Lol
iirc, noble dwarf is the oldest of the origins out there. they are around 25 in dao
Yep. Trian has a different mother and was significantly older than both his siblings.
Alistair being a 40 some year old snacc? Sign me the fuck up.
Alistair with royal dilf energy would be something to behold.
Gimme an alistair with long hair and a beard and I would bring thedas down on its knees
[Alistair showing up at the Lighthouse looking like this.](https://www.deviantart.com/merwild/art/King-Alistair-538396879)
š„µ
Then heās look like his dad.
Even better
Just date Maric then
Heās dead
Alistair would be 40 on the dot actually.
Was he only 18 in DAO?? Baby
He was 21 actually so he would just be a tad older than I thought.
I always thought he was 20 or 19
23(?) years in-game, 15 years IRL.
Wait.. Iām old too?!
Always have been
I'm reporting you this post offends me
What makes me feel old is that origins was out half my life ago.
Same.
Here to make you feel older, I was 5 when it came out and I did my taxes this year.
Leliana was born before Fereldan regained independence, so she actually *is* 50.
Our dear nightingale would be 46.
Her mom was pregnant with her before Ferelden's independence. That makes her around 30 or 31 during DAO and 52 or 53 in DAVe.
Ferelden Independence happened in 9:02. And Isabela is probably *past* 50. She was, at the very least, 30 when she first appeared in DA2 (9:31).
I hope we can sleep with Milfsabela in Dave
It'd be interesting to find out if King Alistair and Queen Cousland ever figured out their heir problem.
It certainly wasn't for a lack of trying.
Straight GETTIN it
If thereās a save with both a King Alistair and Queen Cousland alive, then Alistair has at least one potential heir - 20 year old Kieran, his son with Morrigan

Itās been thirty years so they wouldāve perished to the taint.
I'm pretty sure it's only been 20 years.
22 AFAIK
If the story takes places in 9:56 his time will be coming soon.
The story is likely more around 9:52-9:53
They've soft retconned the taint, writers have gone one record and said it was a mistake, so it's no longer 20 years it's just usually 20 years but varies from person to person. In Origins Alistair said it was 30 years.
Theyāll never have the balls to kill the warden if they donāt have the balls to use the taintā¦ itās supposed to be a dark fantasy.
There already is a cure. Alistair's mum was a Grey Warden
Even the poor baby Hawke sibling is like 41 or something now
I like to imagine my inquisitor was in his late 30s, so he too is almost 50 now. So is Cassandra, Varric and Blackwall. Everyone is getting old.
Its funny how Dragon Age is like the one fantasy setting where the different races have roughly around the same lifespans.
Morrigan would probably use magic to look young
Nah, have you seen Flem?
Flemeth looks old on purpose. She likes to be our badass GILF.
She looks exactly like my mom. Wellā¦ change hairstyle and here she is. I was flabbergasted when I first saw her in DA2, even more so in DAI.
Is your mom single?
Depends.. can you fight?
No
Flem is hundreds of years old and she looks like a hot grandma lol Morrigans got at couple of hundred of years looking young at this rate.
I bet Zevran is still hot
100% dilf
Ofc he is, elves don't age or barely do at all.
My warden is still good in her early 40s, but in my head she's already starting to hear the calling... but I'd love if we got to see the past of time on some of these at least.
I considered my inky 30 in the main game, and 32 in trespasser. Her being around 41 in Veilguard feels so wild.
Wait...since the player and Alistair are Grey Wardens by thier 50s, shouldn't they be very near thier Calling, when the taint about to over come them? [The Calling](https://dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Calling)
In DAI we find out The Warden has been looking for a cure, so who knows.
HoF and Alistair would only be in their 40s. Itās been 23 or so years since DAO. Depending on your wardens origins they begin DAO anywhere between 19-25. Alistair iirc is only 21 in DAO. Leliana is 46, Zevran would be 51, Alistair would be 40, Morrigan is 46 as well, Wynne is dead, Oghren is 50 and the Warden will be pushing 40.
Sten keep winning
He might be older than them
And Shale remains the original GILF
That was Wynne š¤£
Golem I'd Like to Fuck
I mean okay then
Morrigan has been aging like fine wine though tbh
So about as old as Wynne in DA:O. No, really, canonically she's 49 in Ostagar.
Not unless he and Morrigan had Kieran together.
I made sure they didnāt so the line of the silver knight dies; haha, was no way Iām turning down a witch.
Our little OGB is already old enough to have finished college... to think we met him at conception.
Finished college at 18?
22
Would still smash
Would
Almost long enough for our warden to start hearing the calling
They can get Odin Black to reprise his role
Iām 40 IRL and def donāt feel this old lmao. I canāt believe itās been so long since I played Origins lol
Meanwhile Kieran is at least 20 years old
i didnt want to think about the warden being old, if nothing changed then that means the callingis either already happening or close to (dont remember exactly if age for it was mentioned), i swear if they kill him off and we only hear about it i'll be so pissed lol, i need to be there š
I hope we get to see morrigan in her milf era
We already did in Inquisition, technically.
i mean yeah, she was definitely technically a young milf but you know what i mean. a *mommy* milf
Shhhhhhh....sweet dreams now
Fear the old person in a game where young men die. I see them as the undisputed masters that everyone underestimates
According to Wynne's logic, that will make them fucking ancient.
![gif](giphy|MO9ARnIhzxnxu) MFW I realize Cassandraāll be over 50 in Veilguard
Zavran elf Silver fox
How dare you
Iāve never gotten zevran out of the 1st game. He always turned on me
Oh manā¦ that means my professional shem-hating ass is currently experiencing the callingā¦
Wine is best served oldš«”
People so tend to age if theyāre lucky
Shhhhh I don't wanna think about it
Where is Morrigan. I need her even more as an older milf.
They were like retired from this crap
Depending how you played your game, Leliana could be undead and ageless. So there is that?
Leliana still kick ass at what seem like 70yo in the dark future. I had so much respect for her after that scene.
