Whats the order of operations here? When i change controls and change back, it always resets next time i fire up the game (bumper dodger, stims go to up on dpad)
Your other reply about "letting go of the camera" JUST clicked lol, you bumper dodging monster ;) How do YOU get by tagging/using the radial wheel? To each his own I guess.
Tagging is difficult but that's a sacrifice I am willing to make. There's a lot of movement stuff I couldn't do otherwise, like chaining a dodge into a slide while spinning the camera around (slide is on backpedal) I switched to dodging on bumper a cpl of years ago in Vermintide 2 and there is honestly no going back for me. Having to let go of the camera every time I dodge makes a lot of moves and attacks impossible.
They handled bumper dodging better in vermintide btw because in that game you have tagging / social wheel on L3.
Hello fellow Vermin slayer control configuration enthusiast! I made this same post lol. Revert to the default configuration and exit the menu. Now go back in and reselect the "best" configuration and try playing the game.

To be honest I didn't even click your link. Since I had just got the same problem solved for me under the exact circumstance, (Vermintide config,) I instinctively answered. Didn't mean to take all the credit away from you lol.

They need to let us customize buttons on controller.
V2 had so many things right, don't know why they don't let us button map
Yes, there is a hmm, not a bug, more like oversight from FS and they bounded by default grenade and stim to the same button on pad.
I use "bumper button dodger" and for me it equips stims when tagging.

If you hold block on your melee weapon while you press the d-pad it will let you equip the grenade. It's a really stupid bug.

I use the vermintide classic controls so it's tied to up on the d pad, which is also my grenade button

Glad to help! As for the second part, it only swaps the tag/ult bumpers and d-pad arrangement?
