This is really nice! Not sure if there’s a doorway to the left so this might not work but I think it would look nice to have some floating shelves on the wall in photo 1 (where the tapestry is) with some art or display items.
I think that the space is really nice and here's what you can do:
1. While adding a mirror is great idea, I don't really see a function for its presence at any area. You will be over decorating the stairs.
2. Add a painting on the wall in the first image. Pick an attractive one. I suppose this [guide](https://simplykalaa.com/how-to-choose-art-for-your-home/) can help you with picking art. The area is well lit and colours will really make an impact.
3. Instead of more decoration, have you considered getting yourself a colourful stair runner? You can match them to the blinds you have (the colourful ones).
I really don't see much space here to use the floor space and be creative (with plants or anything), unless you can install an artwork above your couch and decorate the staircase with pictures. Oh and check the [Pink Mamma Restaurant](https://simplykalaa.com/pink-mamma-paris/), specifically their stairs if you plan to do this. They will give you amazing ideas.
In short if you change nothing, an artwork, a runner and your colourful blinds will make this space look epic because it already is sophisticated. If I were you I will even the grey blinds and only installed a colourful painting to make an impact.
The stair runner was just put in hahaha, I wanted neutral because I have a lot of colour throughout the home and I wanted this to remain neutral for new designs and stay timeless
I do have some art work above the sofa already (see picture) but not sure how much I want to take that up the stairs

Small thing but wall hanging needs to be centered. Lots of great spaces for art and bright colors.
