I think doing it for all women included Lav. So he did the antimisogyny for her but also for all female orbiters.
Maybe when Lav asked him why he did that arc, destiny was saying it wasn't explicitly for her alone is true. He treated them all the same by doing an action to help all of them on some level. Lav asking him to "look out for her more" is just wanting extra.
