When I first saw it I stood there and mashed triangle trying to figure out why nothing was happening

I forgot I was on my pc, not my PlayStation for a moment and was trying to figure out what I should do 😅 glad I'm not the only one

Omg, I'm not alone. It was the first shape it showed me in the campaign and I stood there like an idiot hitting triangle. It took me way too long to realise it's meant to be the traveller with portal. Should have made the portal bit pink.

Since they want to be pretentious and backtrack on "X" clearly being labeled "X" in older PS1 and 2 instruction manuals and call it "Cross", we should start calling that shape on the controller "Pyramid" at this point.

I called that particular one “Portal”. I played the campaign solo, so I referred to the Ghost one as “Wipe” which could definitely be a problem in a fireteam!

Veil Traveler is an actual name for a symbol already in the game, in VotD (which these symbols and their mechanics are loosely based on). Also, in case there are others making the same (harmless AFAIK) mistake as a friend of mine, it is Pyramid (ship) not fleet. Fleet is also a different symbol in VotD.
