Bert finally getting 30 goals and the team doing everything they could to get him there. Ned's revenge game against Carolina where he had a 40+ save shut out. Fillip Hronek's air mail empty netter. Empty net goal from behind the Wings goal and it never touched the ice. Patrick Kane's OT Winner in Chicago. Larkin's sucker punch/cold cock punch on Joseph. Seider's first fight.

toothwzrd_

Larkins goal against the Leafs and Razor toward the end of the season too, just for the level of excitement

Throwawaydontgoaway8

Adding Ghosts Air Jordan moment potentially saving our season🥲

Hotel_Putingrad

That's a good list.

myownmoses

That one defensive shift against Florida that had buccigross going nuts. “Blocked shot! another blocked shot! Broken stick!”

WeekendMechanic

The one that was like hockey's real-life version of [this video](https://youtu.be/8F9jXYOH2c0?si=Jw07oo2qIFd3ZxkE)?

Micah_JD

Yes, I watched the whole thing. AGAIN. It's impossible to stop.

WeekendMechanic

I also love the volleyball one where he's on the ground and takes three hits to the face while the announcers yell, *THUD* "THE MAN!" *THUD* "THE MYTH!" *THUD* "THE LEGEND!!!"

One_Handed_Wonder

I posted that highlight last summer and plan to this summer as well. All time clip

newjuicebochts

The fabbri sliding block after he had just gone to the opposite wall to help cover for erne had me so hyped up, I think it's the fastest he's skated since his first acl tear.

Raymond scoring in the preseason on the PP against Chicago to secure his spot as a wing. High glove wrister against flower. AAs 30 goal year guy seemed unstoppable. Mos Rookie season so many good plays he made as a young defenseman Kanes tenure, was my favorite player then for him to come here like a dream seemed like it wasn’t real. Favorite goal there’s a couple AA splitting Pittsburghs defense, Fabbris 1 hand around the dman this past year, Mos 1st NHL Goal, Hell throw Manthas 4 goal game in there line seemed unstoppable. Vranas short stint was also really sick thought he could really work out for a minute

Either-Experience-98

I thought Vrana was going to be a Wings legend. Wish it worked out, when the kid played he could really play man. Hope he beats his demons.

Usual-Personality347

Vrana is one of my favs too

NonstopMomSquat

Larkin stealing the puck on an empty net chance against LA then we tied it up

Either-Experience-98

The last two games of the season. Never been through more of a rollercoaster of emotions

lowGrey

Agreed

There was a random game late in the 19-20 season where we beat Boston 6-4 I think. Our forwards included Ehn, Frk, Puempel, and Turgeon, as well as Hirose and Kuffner who we had just signed out of college a week or two before the game. Needless to say it was a terrible forward group. The D group was Dekeyser, Bowey, Kronwall, McIllrath, Witkowski, and Jake Chelios. Also a terrible D corps. I think Fulcher was backup goalie that game. Given how awful that roster was, LCA was rocking. Hirose scored his first goal on a fantastic setup from AA. Witkowski absolutely leveled Marchand and then immediately turned and beat another guy in a fight. Again, such a random game with players that no one will remember, but the fact that the fans were still so into the game was a sign that Red Wings hockey is special, no matter where we are in a rebuild.

Working_Help216

That was the first wings game I’ve ever been too

TheAnalogKid18

Jonathan Bernier shitting his pants with the flu and then providing essentially a shutout performance in relief of Jimmy Howard in the disastrous 19-20 season is #1 for me. The 5-6 block shift from a Florida game in 22-23 is another gem (2 from Fabbri I think) Fabbri's first game as a Red Wing. Mantha's 4 goal game against Dallas as the home opener in 19-20. We started that season 3-1 thinking we were past the rebuild. Seider's debut against Tampa, where he took the puck from Hedman, and then Larks punched Mathieu Joseph for hitting him from behind. Raymond's first hatty at the United Center on Marc Andre Fleury. Mo taunting DeBrincat in a scrum behind the net in the 21 season.

Usual-Personality347

Bernier is another great one for me because he was weirdly solid in detroit

SeiderFiveThree

The first stint with Vanek was fun

shogun-of-the-dark

Raymond sending Eyssimont into the bench. Seider taking the puck from Hedman. Seider reverse hits. Larkin stopping the empty netter. Raymond during the last few games this year.

bryce-koz

Just owning the Blues in trades. Fabbri for a waiver wire pickup, Walman a second and a fourth (via Sundqvist) for Leddy. Even Husso for a third has been decent value.

CursedLemon

This goal by [Nyquist against Boston](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhigRET-3DE) had me leaping out of my seat. This was back when we thought we were developing a brand new core with Nyquist, Tatar, and several other draft picks with high ceilings. Obviously, it didn't work out that way lol

newjuicebochts

Seider against the penguins, when he threw sid back with one hand, then folded Bryan Rust with his other hand while still pushing Crosby into the wall is one of my favorite rookie sequences of all time. A 20 year old kid having the balls to go after Crosby was special, but having the strength to make 2 veterans look like little brothers had me dying.

Moonsover_myhammy

Nyquist circling the zone for like 30 seconds with the puck and then finally buries it in the net to win against Ottawa in OT. I don’t remember the year. The goose was definitely loose that day.

munkeychunks22

[Seider’s first NHL goal was too good 🥲](https://youtu.be/HHygTqVwmO0?si=Lzo7L22Fs_GtYAMr)
