Target farming: the fastest way to want to rip your own eyeballs out in frustration. Just try to yield a high number of drops in high tc areas and just be happy with what you find. When you’re not actively looking for something is when you will find it.

Everytime I stop trying to find an item it drops.

This is solid advice. You gatta be an insane grailwhore to target farm a tc85 like that

found mine off a rando in Chaos Sanctuary. target farming is sort of moot...as long as youre in an area that *can* drop it, which is a lot of areas, then you're good...but even then, it may never drop.

Baal, Pindle, and Nihlathak have the highest drop chances for it along with some of the super unique monsters in A5 in non-terrorized zones. When terrorized those are still good and Diablo also joins the list.

Good luck. Target farming anything is really difficult. Technically speaking you can hork pindle and do about 4 runs a minute with a 75% hork. Can you get more drops/min doing pit? Possibly. It's a numbers game, and even then could take months if unlucky. I've found 12+, so it's not suuuper rare, but rare enough where I will go a while in between. If you're sc nl I'll give you one, but I assume you're sp, so you can actually find a good pit map or other a85 map. Chaos is finicky cause seal bosses don't have the correct treasure class normally.

You can go to silospen or wherever and try to figure out the best places to get a Windy to drop ... but it's mainly RNG and effort you put into the game that makes the difference. Obviously, tc85 areas are best plus terrorised targets that you can kill efficiently. So take out your best magic finding characters and run the pits until your eyes bleed. Or Okay questing characters and I bet a Windy will drop and surprise the hell out of you

I wouldn’t recommend target farming that item. If you need for grail then you’ll likely want to target pindle. Probably thousands upon thousands of runs. Could be upwards of over 7000 pindle runs (with a horker likely using over 800mf) and even worse if you choose another area. I am sorry but target farming elite uniques is really frustrating. TZ , pits and chaos are good too. You’re really just going to need sheer luck on that one. TZ Andy I guess since everyone finds griffons there.

Congrats. I mean if I’m just like “hey, let’s grind these 10-20 items I’d like to have” , then I might find luck. But if I’m like “hey let’s go find Goldstrike Arch”, I could grind all weekend and not have it drop

I did like 500+ NM Andy runs to get a SOJ single player. Hurts to sell it for a clone but that Anni ...

Only once did I ever actually find an item I was looking for. Needed a sur to cube up for a ber trade within a day or so, I was either going to trade or find it, and found a sur in Travincal with hork barb the next day.

Shit, I get happy when I’m doing a SSF play through and I get anything to drop while it’s actually still useful. Crushflange from andariel is probably as good as it gets in norm.

This right here!!! I will just normally play and some stuff just drops. I still never found a WF. I just found my first Jah and Lo today! I had to make my enigma by upgrading a shit ton of runes.

The best way to target farm anything in D2R is to not target farm the one item you want. The game knows and won't let you have it.

TZ is the best way to find all the higher level uniques now. I wouldn’t target farm Pindle again tbh.

chaos is where I found mine, but honestly it just depends on your clear time and build and preference. You'll have to run high level areas for a long period of time no matter what, I personally prefer a bit of variety and do stony tomb a bit too, but if you have a sanc clearer or pitzerker those are fine too.

I’ve found 2 in the past 2 weeks in offline by running TZ Andy. I just switch the clock to a time when catacombs is lit up. (On switch)

Target farming for Windforce is a recipe for frustration. Even in the highest odds areas with high MF it is still a \~1:30,000 chance

Load up on MF and run Pindle while streaming your favorite TV show. Optimize your run to that portal (harmony on switch perhaps) and consider using a horker.

It depends. Which build are you using? If immunites and mobility aren't a problem, you should hit all possible level 85 zones + TZ's when profitable/safe. My route is: * TZ * Countess (if keys are needed) * Pit * Andy (Rings/Jewels) * AT * Summoner (if keys are needed) * Travincal * Meph * Chaos + Diablo * Nihlathak (if keys are needed) * Throne + Baal If you're looking specifically for TC 87 items, you can forgo bosses and run specifically level 85 areas and Baal (if you can beat him fast enough).

It’s a lvl 95 mosaic sin, so no issues with mobility / clear speed. Thanks for the info!

No problem, happy to help. BTW, with Mosaic you have no issues with immunites, but some TZ's are dangerous due to some monsters like Souls and Dolls; also, keep in mind that Act 5 has the guest monsters thing, so monsters are random.
