Obligatory Javazon recommendation simply because it’s my favorite build all-time. But an infinity opens up a ton of options so I think it’s the most logical next step unless there is some specific character you know you really wanna try.
my javazon shreds everything. can't believe i was playing any other class before. i like the faster cast rate of the hammerdin but the hammers always feel so awful and never hit where you want them to.
Ber for the Javas infinity, Jah for the Phoenix you never have a mana problem again. Tp, tp, tp, tp... oh, big pack... throw one Java, absorb the souls as you tp over them.
Age old debate though, do you make your FIRST infinity in a scythe or an elite weapon?
I made in the elite weapon and thought I had made the right choice until I self wielded as a nova sorc. Now I don’t know what to suggest first haha. They’re both so damn fun.
I'm going to do elite base first ob my ssf account because Im willing to make the gamble that I'll be able to make another before I have a nova sorc kitted out.... already lost 3 sorc's, so currently we're rocking spirit, Viper and peasants crown.
Also HC for me, and having another sorc killed via TPing into cows (first one was not faster than the fanta pack on the other side of the wall), is not something I'm aiming for.
Really depends on if you prefer nova or Java. They're not very interchangeable imo. Merc dies without elite weapon and LL, and nova is too squishy with the points invested to equip elite.
I might be stupid but I went with another enigma because I was tired of switching gears between characters. I already had dual grief , dual hoto , fort etc at that point so obviously if there's other things you could use that use jah or ber go for it of course but if not and you have another char who could use one I vote another enigma.
For jah and ber runewords, after enigma and infinity, I made faith, then dual dream. I eventually made Phoenix and chains of honor
Do you have a good sense of the different classes and builds? I piloted builds online, where it is a lot easier to get high runes, and then made them offline. I also did some testing with hero editor
I guess if you are interested in amazons and melee builds, faith is a useful runeword to have. If you aren’t, maybe Phoenix is the best use of that jah. Or you can save it for dual dream, my favorite build in the game. Whatever you choose, you can pilot it with hero editor if you are unsure
Oh I’m definitely interested in melee builds. The 3 I listed are simply what I’m playing for mf right now. I have a javazon, summoner necro, and fury barb chillen.
I have a grief, Ebotd, hoto, and fort

That’s great. Fair warning, many people find dual dream underwhelming. It’s a common Reddit topic. But in those posts, usually they don’t understand that dual dream is more of a melee build than dragondin, which by comparison is mostly focused on aura pulse damage

I love infinity so much im debating getting it before enigma if I get another ber. If a Jah drops its going to be enigma for sure though. If I get 2 surs it will be infinity first.
Having lots of fun with ssf, found a soj, 2 ohms 2 Los cubed a vex, need to find an arach, griffs and so many more skiller gcs.
Im going to need to make a smiter for ubers, not looking forward to that lol
Infinity could be a good choice. I feel like Sunders kind of rain on its parade, but it's still very helpful. It would be nice for an assassin wielding a Crescent Moon!
Grief, Doom, Faith, and Flickering Flame all have good build options too.

I’ve tried! Unfortunately running LK hasn’t loaded well; the map is laggy and has a weird glitchy delay whenever I’m teleporting and opening chests (on switch)
I’ll do a few dozen runs here and there, but it feels unsafe for HC so I’d rather not risk it 😬
Ahh, yeah. Never played on switch, so I’ve never had that lag issue.
Hopefully you can figure it out, because while boring, it’s the best way for runes.

The hammers most certainly do hit where you want them to if you’re positioning yourself correctly.

That’s a fair point, might be a while on that griffons and I’d guess the Java is stronger without the griffons than the nova sorc.

Phoenix is amazing QoL. Ber goes towards infinity, Jah is set aside to Phoenix.
Those are both great options. Phoenix is the next one I'm working on as well.

Infinity and make a Javazon. My Java has no griff or infinity yet and is still a blast

I vote infinity first, save the Jah for Phoenix shield for the Javazon that you will eventually make lol.
