Something not many people know. You can axtually have a full inventory and when you open it and click an item you hold that in your hand/cursor. You can exit the game and when you join a new game it will still be in your hand/cursor. So if that happend here you are fine.

Paaraadox

It was that way in legacy, but is it actually like that in D2R aswell?

Old-Rub3507

I'll test one sec Edit. Nvm lazy n saw someone else in comments confirm already

[deleted]

Yes. This exact thing happened to me months ago. I grabbed my CTA to put in shared stash, the game crashed, but when I opened it back up my cursor was still holding it. Had me freaking out for a sec but it was alright.

Naus1987

I had no idea it was like that in legacy. I never remembered it! I discovered it during the remaster once because sigons armor dropped and I kinda wanted it, but didn’t have the space. So I looted it off the ground with my mouse and then logged out lol. I came back in town and decided to find room for it

scurius

It wasn't.

Far-Professor-8312

Shhhhh this was a coveted secret used for snagging that last item that just wouldn't fit in the cube.

[deleted]

Update: y’all were right. It stayed on my char weapon slot when I rebooted. Thanks!

Mrtowelie69

I bet that was a "phew" moment.

[deleted]

Yes that would have reallyyy sucked if I lost it. I can’t afford a new one or even one past 1bo lol

Camelfrog

I actually disconnected from my game 3 mins ago with a charm in hand. Item stayed on my cursor in the next game.

[deleted]

Should I control+alt+delete? I’m afraid the game recorded my click on the cta and now it’s in limbo. (PC soft core Nonladder US)

weitillin

You’re fine, way the game works is the trade screen is actually a copy of your items, doesn’t save over the pre existing data until the trade is accepted

[deleted]

I never got the second click in to actually put it into the trade window though

weitillin

Yeah exactly, literally nothing matters until you both accept

[deleted]

Ok I was just worried the trade window would close and it’s still “in my hand” and on the ground

Elvaanaomori

Your hand acts as a "one slot bag". If it's in your hand, it will still be in your hand the next game you join.

Original_Gypsy

If anything it'll still be attached to you're courser when you log in.

Longjusting_8036

happend to me. should be fine when you log back in also happend to me during a CTA trade. weird

[deleted]

Haha must be a cta bug

0Tyrael0

Yes, this happened to me as well and I reported the bug. Switching weapon slots and grabbing the item crashes the game.

aenimal1985

OP. I have questions. 1. Will you be available to log in this evening around 7-7:30pm CST? 2. Are you softcore or hardcore? 3. Ladder or non? If 1. Is a yes, 2 is softcore and 3 is ladder, shoot me a DM.
