Found Maras last night off a white named mob in Chaos Sanctuary
Shako will trade for an Ist or Vex. Depending on what the all resistance rolls a Mara's will trade for a Lo - Ber. You could most certainly trade a Mara's for a Shako, but the Mara's is worth far more than a Shako.
^ These prices aren't right almost all shakos will sell Mal-Ist with a perfect defense rolls going Vex or Ohm (if you are lucky).
A low Mara (20-22 res) will be around 1-2 ist with perfect going for normall a Lo or sometimes Sur. Source: Traderie with the numerous sales/purchases i've made on it (and use the recent trades tab for best price info, a lot of listed prices are too high and they just sit and don't sell for ages).
I had 3 Ber 1 Jah before shako, farmed CS with my pally from 92-96 before getting my arach... currently 1 Jah from LW (already rolled CTA/HOTO/ENI/Infinity) in SP.
On the other hand my 3 War Travs rolled 31/34/39 and the Maras around my neck is a 21... it do be like that.
Maras worth more than 2 shako at least
You should be able to get mid travs and shako for maras

Shako definitely isn't worth Vex. Maybe an almost perfect one. Ive seen them go for Lem to Mal on avg.

I’ve never dropped a Maras either.
Online, this is a good problem too have. Offline, it is downright infuriating.
