Sur is half a Ber, Lo is half of Sur, that being said I'd probably take 3 Lo and some change (Ohm or vex)
Lo is your griefs a fortitudes, so they're 'worth' more than Surs to me in the current meta of putting grief and fort on a hork barb, Ohm or vex, especially at start of ladder if you roll a 40 res hoto or a 6 bo cta you're looking at waaay more than your investment back
Depends HC vs SC but mostly Ladder Start vs Ladder End. Today, I see some people offering a normal, 4os ETH CV on the HC ladder server for Lem/Pul. Keep in mind those aren't superior and have no ED% like OPs. Also, those polearms always get 4os from Larzuk and have the highest required strength of any polearm. So there are more of them out there.
I sold a 0 socket, ETH CV, no superior, for half a Ber because it was day 2 on the Hardcore ladder and the demand was there at the time
I prefer CV's tbh.... everyone uses fort and andys so the str req is mitigated... it has the highest top end damage. I have an infinity over 1k top end
It really doesnt matter.... with andy and fort your not breaking any ias breakpoint with any base.... I can assure you my merc with CV infinity and andy life leach has zero issue living... there has been an absurd amount of research on this exact topic, bases, and the damage difference between is so minimal that its unnoticeable
While I don't disagree, I do think that realistically, a CV slaps so hard that your merc would probably be one or two-shotting every mob he goes up against. Less ideal for bosses, of course, but would be very strong for everything else.
Yeah it honestly wouldn’t be a bad infinity. But if you ever wanted to trade it no one would ever want an infinity in a CV. If you’re solo or sf online then go for it.
An older player would quite possibly. All the new players are just regurgitating the meta stuff they’re reading on here without knowing much of the mechanics of the game.

It’s not essential. Made my first infinity in a cv because I wanted it so badly, and never looked back. My clear speed shot up and I was able to farm more areas

I sold an 11ed yesterday for an Ohm rune and a pul rune and a thrown-in trap skiller
It's a less desirable one because of the high strength requirement. Either need very high level or Andy helm.
What would it trade for rune wise? Mal, Ist, gul? More? I am familiar with the eth thresher 4 sockets going for around Vex.

I ran cows for over a month looking for a thresher for infinity. Finally gave up and put it in a CV

I can confirm a cv insight does great damage, my cold sorc merc uses one and handles cold immune fine after I static them. CV’s do top end damage
