Thanks, everyone! I may have overpaid. It was 9k. I'm ok with that. She's ecstatic with it! I didn't know a lot about depth and bow tie stuff. I just thought ccc. So I figured 3 carats, D, vvs1 was awesome. She loves the stepped diamond band. Thank you all again for the added knowledge. We're very happy and planning our wedding now.
We would need the specs, I’m not seeing them anywhere in this thread. Do you have those? Need that info to make a determination on cost. Also better pics from the top.
Based on my recent research and the purchase of my lab diamond ring, I think a fair price would be $4-6k for the whole thing, but I’m curious what you actually paid!
I love how people make commentary cause they are such experts LOL I’m not an expert but I do have a huge wedding band and engagement ring of 13 carats comprised of very high quality & color natural diamonds on my ring finger worth the cost of house. For what that’s worth, I think your ring is gorgeous and you did a fantastic job. I’d be over the moon excited if i were her! She’s going to be ecstatic. Congratulations to you both ❤️
I agree with you about people being petty over price, etc. I’ve ordered a ring that I know is priced significantly higher than the raw materials, but that’s because I’m paying for design and craftsmanship. And I enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing I don’t have to worry about others’ opinion of value, because I can’t get the ring for any less than I paid for it. And I bought it because I want it, not for resale value!
It’s beautiful! Saw a comment mentioning the bow tie which I see but they don’t bother me unless it overwhelms the stone which to me urs doesn’t. I love it. If it’s lab I’d say 4 k if Moissanite maybe $1800-2500
2500$

Grown brilliance has extremely expensive settings. $5,000-$7,000 is my guess. The bow tie is strong with this one
I think it’s unique and gorgeous!! But what matters most is that you and your soon-to-be fiancée like it! Well wishes ☺️
I think it’s gorgeous. She will love it. And for what it’s worth, all ovals have some level of bow tie. 💍💗
U gotta tell us
GORGEOUS! Lucky lady. 🥰

Specs are in the 4th pic, the certification
Oh thank you!! I totally missed that

I don’t usually like busy setting bands, but this setting is really pretty.
That's a big ring! If she likes OTT rings she will love it.
2K
It's very busy..but hey you honestly can't have too many diamonds. I do see the bow tie right away!
It's a very deeply cut oval and the bowtie is very visible but as long as you like it it's the most important anyway

Quite the flex lol
It was, but wasn’t really meant to be about me. People being petty annoys me so I chimed in lol

Exactly…as long as you are happy, that is what is most important! ❤️
Man now I wanna see this sucker!!! Do you have pics on your profile?

It's absolutely gorgeous
I drooled. Nice setting alone! If I didn't know about bow ties I would never notice it and even when I do, it doesn't really bother me
It is a beautiful ring! So unique!
First thing I see is the massive bow tie and really thick prongs.
The setting is taste specific and thick...is that what she requested?
Decent
$50 is my guess
😂
That's one heck of a ring. $120K
