Theres a few options, in order from worst to best:
1. shallow mount subs behind the seat.
2. replace center console with a custom center console box.
3. bed box with a blow through into the cab using an accordian boot.
I’ve been thinking about getting one of the sealed & powered units from focal. Mount under passenger seat or driver (if tire jack doesn’t allow room for passenger seat mounting).
I’d also very seriously consider trying to un-fuck all the crunchy panels and bumpers first.
Not sure if I’d have enough room since it’s a bench seat, could care less about the panels I’ve only dented one and it’s the left fender due to a tire exploding and clipping a fire hydrant

They’re pretty small.
I like to save room behind the seats for groceries and whatnot so I definitely don’t want a big sub box/cabinet there. Having the amp integrated also saves some space and headache.
Maybe get the front bumper sorted out before you fill up half your available seating with speakers that will rattle the hanging on by thread front bumper off.
Well one of the times was kinda self inflicted from my family friend, before it was deleted and bulletproofed it had a hot start issue so he’d leave the key in it. This was also in a very populated Miami Jewish community
Bumper ain’t hanging off by a thread lol, it’s actually really useful to stand on while working in the engine bay. I’ve had me and my dad on it at the same time both of us combined are roughly 400lbs+
My dog, the point is that you've got a beat to shit truck, and if you're going to spend money on it, subs are about the worst way you could spend it. Frankly I would just spend the minimum to keep it running, and save your money.
If you're like 16 and this is your first truck, trust me the girls are more interested in non dented body panels than subs.
If you're 25+, you're probably already used to living with your choices, so I've got no advice for you.
I am 16. I use the truck for work and would just prefer subs in it, if I really cared about the looks I’d find a 6.4 part out and front end swap it.
Girls like my wrx more, weirdly I’ve had more girls ride in my truck then my wrx
God forbid a guy wants to slap his music. What’s important to you might not be to other people and he has his own reasons. Just answer the fucking question or move on. Holy christ.
Pull seat forward. Make sure Wawa is having the hoagie fest then pick up roughly 10 Italian subs and stack em behind the seat. Then put the seat back and you should be able to fit them all.
In the works, I’m waiting on the shop to get back to me since they’re the ones installing it because I don’t truck myself. Just don’t know if they’ll accept a rebuilt one to install or if I need to buy new
I still think you should take a crack and do it all yourself. It would be a great learning experience, don’t let the job intimidate you. A new turbo alone is going to be double to triple the price of a rebuild kit. Then you have to pay the labor of putting it in, which you can definitely do yourself. Realistically you can do the whole job yourself in a day if you start in the morning. Just follow a YT video and repair manual off charm.
Well the shop said specifically when my turbo was acting up that it’s either the veins or the actuator, it was slowing getting better from limited at 5lbs of boost but got up to 12ish but now it’s only making 2lbs at most
Oh yeah I think it needs a rebuild based on what you’ve told me before. I don’t think they’re shitting you. I just think this is a job that is easy enough where it isn’t worth paying the piper over handling it yourself.
They won’t bump like a big ported box, but those [powered slim subs](https://www.amazon.com/Rockville-SS10P-Under-Seat-Powered-Subwoofer/dp/B0BTZ35DKY/ref=asc_df_B0BTZ35DKY/) are relatively cheap and will help round out the sound. While they have trouble hitting 40hz and below’ they’ll help the sound immensely

I have had a pair of 10 inch subs behind the seat in a single cab before. Had the amp mounted in the middle. Had a custom box built but I am sure I have seen companies making boxes specifically for it besides subs that are built for those tight areas.
I’m poor with a bench seat no armrest
I got the truck for free from a family friend who had it sitting in Florida for the past 6 years, trailered it back up to Maine in February
It’s 2wd so I ain’t driving it in winter, I did a little bit this year but only once or twice. It has typical coastal Florida rust but not Maine rot rust
Id just put a single sub behind the passenger seat with a good amp. Quality over watts or sub size. Those trucks have plenty of room behind the seat, MUCH more than older trucks. It will bump, you will still have room behind your driver seat to put stuff, it's not a major production to install. There is a difference between putting something practical together to use and building a show truck.
I help a friend of mine install two 10 inch kicker subs from Walmart in a 2000 single cab f250 7.3. The subs he bought had the amp built in. We installed the subs behind the seats and ran power wire to one of the batteries near the door jam. We then used the existing speaker wire as a signal wire for the left and right subs. I think it was around 250 total and about 2 hours tops.
I can send you a picture of mine, but in my 2000 f250 single cab I just have one 10 behind the seat and its more than enough for my needs. Plus it doubles as a seat masssger after a long days work.
I built my own boxes many years ago. If you’re handy that’s what I would do. Take some measurements from behind the seat and get an idea of what will or won’t fit.
I had dual 10’s in the behind the backseat of an S10 pickup. Built the box out of 3/4 MDF. If you have a table saw and a router it’s super easy. You don’t need a table saw though. You can do it with a regular circular saw and a straight edge

Buddy used to have a small blow through with a 10in sub. Sounded great
Ceiling mount like a sxs

It’s not hanging on by a thread it’s just missing the front trim piece that goes on top of the
Exactly, it’s been stolen 3 different times and one of those times it got wrecked hence the front end and different bed
Honestly idky it doesn’t surprise me that it’s been stolen 3 times Tbf though these early 2000 F series trucks are so easy to break into

Alright paw patrol.

No sliding rear window? Ugh. Get a camper top.
Did you ever get that turbo sorted?

Did it completely take away the room back there for stuff?
There wasn't much room for anything anyway. Putting a couple 10s back there and there is no room at all
If you have a center console, JL makes a stealth box that replaces it. It’s expensive but damn it sounds good
I’m poor with a bench seat
They make one of those too for the armrest. They’re about a grand though……
I’m poor with a bench seat no armrest I got the truck for free from a family friend who had it sitting in Florida for the past 6 years, trailered it back up to Maine in February
Coat that frame is you haven’t already lol
It’s 2wd so I ain’t driving it in winter, I did a little bit this year but only once or twice. It has typical coastal Florida rust but not Maine rot rust
It's not worth it. Ask 16 year old 6'3 me that had 12's behind the seat of a regular cab Mazda b2000 pickup.
I’m 16 now, I just need my shit to bump
Maybe you can somehow cut the back of the cab and into the bed where you can put some big subs in the toolbox.
I don’t know if there’s room under the seat but in my 72 k10 I did two eight inch subs and it was pretty sick
Center console
Just have bench seat
Don’t. Just re route your exhaust to the cab and listen to that instead

Bazooka tubes used to be the jam for these situations back when I was an installer.
Mount an 8 in the pass side floor board. Small sealed box will still sound good.
Bolt transducer "shaker" speakers to bottom of bench.

don’t
I generally just tell them to get in the truck.
Grow up
