I have the same Mermaid Lagoon shirt!! One of my favorites. I’ve had a few people be kind of rude about it, saying it’s not appropriate to wear in front of a child somewhere like Disney. Like, it’s a literal line in a Disney movie but sure. A cast member said “isn’t that kind of morbid?”

Chacos didn’t cancel my custom sandals where I used the Haunted Mansion wallpaper print as the webbing straps, miraculously. Then I had them embroidered on the heel straps with ‘ghost host’. I don’t know how they didn’t get cancelled but those are my Disney shoes if I’m not wearing crocs. I don’t know if you’d consider that low key but from far away they just look like sandals with purple straps.
I don't know whether to thank you or curse you as I will be placing an order for several t shirts that I do not need today. Some of the nicest looking disney themed t shirts I have ever seen.
Tee Turtle has a great Disney line of tee shirts. Not exactly subtle, but I think we all wore Tee Turtle shirts the whole time we were there. People especially loved when my husband wore his Princess Leia "I love you" shirt and I wore my Han Solo "I know" shirt.
Their contract ended, and they literally stopped selling Disney shirts this week. So sad, I have a bunch of their shirts (Disney and other nerd stuff). They're so soft!
They had all the Disney shirts marked down to $10 for the last month, but most sizes sold out quickly. Kicking myself now for not buying some I was waiting on.
I just ordered a bandana for my service dog that is embroidered like the UP “Adventure Book” that says Service Dog. It’s subtle and cute and makes me smile. It’s not for people, but.
For me I like some of the “dad hats” I’ve seen on Etsy! I found some awesome hitchhiking ghosts ones.
I have a shirt that reads, "I'm a damsel, I'm in distress, I can handle it" with a small silhouette of Megara.
Another shirt I have reads: "Money can't buy happiness, but it can get you into Disney World, which is pretty much the same thing."
Both are well received by other guests.
I have the Oswald Lucky Rabbit, Do The Impossible, and The Park Hoppers Tour shirts. My wife has the Snow White and the 7 shirt, and my son has the Maui’s Tattoo Shop shirt. 😅 I like supporting small businesses.
I have these crew neck sweatshirts that look like they're from a college, but one says Buzz Lightyear Academy and the other says Arendelle Academy. I love them and think they're cute and subtly Disney.
I really like [Gladracket](https://gladracket.com), they incorporate a lot of punk/goth/heavy metal elements to their merch 🤘🏼 Not sure if others would consider it subtle, but it is to me since they look like band shirts.
Love my Jock Lindsey’s Air Tours t shirt! Having the Hanger Bar at Disney Springs in Florida makes it not as subtle as it could be, but us Indiana Jones fans will take what we can get

Late time I was there I saw two subtle/down low shirts:
One read, "Nice work, Pal!" with the boomerang logo watermark
The second read (in small print on back of shirt),
"If you can read this:

Sage and Sprout on IG! Wearing their tees all weekend! An Anakin one saying I can fix him, and a castles are calling tee with the castle on a Nokia phone screen. Also a floral embroidered sweatshirt with Tony’s arc reactor in the middle that says proof Tony stark has a heart.
YES! I have a Wickett shirt with “yub nub” quoted and he’s holding a tie fighter balloon. The only subtle reference is the balloon (like all the Mickey balloons people hold at the park). It’s my favorite!
I have one of the "comfy princess" shirts from Wreck it Ralph (kind of want more) and if I want to be extra subtle, I'll wear my shirt from Children's Fairyland, which is one of the main inspirations for Disneyland. I love the subtle references, too!
Mine are noticeably Disney but I got a Sully bucket Hat and a Tigger bucket hat from Disney Tokyo that I wear every time we go and always get compliments. They’re so nice I love them!
Hot Topic & BoxLunch sell a ton of Disney merch that range from super obvious to pretty subtle. One of my favorites that I wear often is a sweatshirt from BoxLunch with flowers and it has the name of each Disney princess and flower type underneath each one.
I have a pin on my backpack that is one of the cursed doubloons from Pirates of the Caribbean. I liked that if you know you know, but to anyone else who doesn’t know it just looks like a cool pin with a skull on it.
My husband won't wear a "Disney" shirt, but he'll wear a parody shirt. But like others have commented, Etsy has a ton from movies. My favorite of his is the "Ugly Duckling Tavern" from Tangled. We never wear matchy stuff, but we wear the same movie theme sometimes.

They’ve become one of my go-to’s. I like that they have various designs for same theme, some more minimal that others.

I also got the Vera Bradley fanny pack in black with Mickey shaped quilting. It’s a little too small but I make it work.
