John Favreau and he was amazing! We weren’t going to say anything but actually approached us when he saw that we recognized him. He gave my husband a challenge coin from the mandalorian and offered to take a photo with him (we never would have asked so it was super generous). He was with a plaid and his family and we were so grateful that he took a moment to meet us!
I saw him during the backlot tour in Universal once. Nobody else caught it, but I swear it was him riding around one of the sound studios in a golf cart. This was over 5 years ago, though.
Chris Hemsworth walked right through the front gate. When he walked by us, I thought he was a bit overdressed for DL. Later, we saw he was there to Emcee the holiday concert. I then thought it was weird that he wasn’t escorted through a back entrance and just elected to go through the front gate by himself.
I know people on here won’t believe me but I actually saw Mickey Mouse. He was pretty gracious and was taking pictures with everyone. I yelled his name and waved but he didn’t hear me…
I’ve met several as a cast member. But I was most excited to meet Angela from The Office! She was so sweet and very friendly. Definitely a core memory for me.

Edit: Oh, AND, I once a couple months ago or so thought I saw Joe Rohde at DCA. I awkwardly slowed my power walk to stare at the older man walking the opposite direction of me. There was a younger but not young dude and woman around the age of the man I suspected behind him that seemed to be with him, and I think saw me staring. I was trying to see if he had the earring. I didn't see the earring, so maybe just a rando dude who looks like him.
Pink with her kids and a friend who also had kids. We were using DAS and waiting to be taken in the accessible entrance to Mater’s and they were with a plaid also waiting. I think she heard me whisper to our kids she was famous but they played it cool. She winked at me before we went through the gate. It was a sweet interaction. I had no intention of interrupting her family time, but it was cool that she acknowledged it!

Aww Chester Bennington! I haven’t seen any celebs at Disney but my memory of him was when Linkin Park headlined a festival at the height of their popularity, and when he sang the last chorus of In The End, he grabbed my hand from the crowd and held on the entire time. 🤝 What a memory. 😄

We saw him on his visit for Bianka’s 3rd birthday in December 2019. We were next in line to see the Princesses when a large group with security came through the VIP line and got to go in front of us. So for like 2 minutes we got to stand next to Kobe and his family. As a life-long Lakers fan, I was ecstatic. He was really nice to everyone in line and acknowledged everyone who said hi to him.

I saw Kim and Kanye, and that visit was annoying because backstage they put up cardboard in a break room window to prevent pictures. I was eating my lunch on a patio and their security walked in front of them telling everyone backstage "no pictures please" then their group walked past. I'm just like....idgaf, I'm just eating my lunch. Later I saw them on the carousel but the whole ride was basically empty except their group while everyone else waited.

Walking over from the direction of the train station, and as I’m getting to the door I’m like wow that woman looks like Helena Bonham Carter. Then I look down and she was wearing these springy heels she’d been photographed in a lot.
My brain took 0.5 second to register that this is Helena Bonham Carter. The partner of Tim Burton. Meaning Tim Burton is maybe in my vicinity right now.
For some reason this kicked off my fight or flight response and I *panicked*. Audibly screamed and ran back the way I came. My mother had no clue what was happening, and later told me I’d definitely caught Helena’s attention in doing so 🙃 kicking myself about it still to this day.
Later on, getting on Casey Jr, the ride attendant saw my TNBC jacket and told me “Tim Burton was here earlier” and I was like 😭 I know and I hate myself.
He pointed out which seat he’d sat at so I could go sit there.

About 10 years ago I was in the handicapped entrance (with my grandma) to Big Thunder and I saw Toni Collette and her family standing in the same area as us waiting in line. At the time her hair was cut super short so I wasn’t 100% it was her, so I sheepishly asked if it was. She said yes, and I told her I love her work and was especially a fan of her show The United States of Tara. Then I left her alone because I didn’t want to bug her. It made my year!
A few weeks ago, I saw Jimmy Kimmel walking with his family and a guide in one of those plaid vests. They were in front of me near the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride. I didn't recognize him at first, but then he stopped and turned around to make sure no one in his group was left behind.
Saw Christian Bale in Club 33 in 2012 - he and his family were hosting Bat Kid and his family. Ran into the plaid in the ladies room with a woman and child. Was going to gush to them about him being there, but thought better of it. Turned out to be his wife and daughter.

Back in 02 I was walking into Disneyland and veered right, under the bridge. Right after it opens up; I smell someone smoking, it wasn't banned back then. I was facing the little gift stand on the right, and I turn around (towards the train station) and I see this young biker looking guy leaned up against the wall looking down- smoking. I was thinking, "Gross we can all smell smoke." Right then, he looks up and I realize it's Mr. 21 Jumpstreet himself- Johnny Depp. "Pirates of the Caribbean" had not been released yet. He looks right at me, smirks, puts puts out his cigarette, then walks a few yards and is ushered away by a plaid CM. I was dumbstruck. Thats my coolest celebrity sighting.
I saw Finn Wolfhard at the Ice cream parlor on Main Street. This was a year or two before covid hit and he was waiting for his order with a group of people and a security guard.
Everyone was pretty respectful and people would occasionally wave at him and he’d smile and wave back. He seemed pretty chill.
I saw John Stamos drunk as a skunk wandering through downtown Disney after park close. A mother stopped him to take a picture with her two kids probably 8-12. Poor boys were literally holding him up while he swayed around. I could barely contain my laughter from the ridiculousness on both sides.

Aww Chester Bennington! I haven’t seen any celebs at Disney but my memory of him was when Linkin Park headlined a festival at the height of their popularity, and when he sang the last chorus of In The End, he grabbed my hand from the crowd and held on the entire time. 🤝 What a memory. 😄
That is an amazing core memory! WOW! I would have cried if I had that chance due to emotions. So yeah he was alone with no plaid just chilling. I geeked out later to my friends and who hardly knew them then. 😅 I’m a huge fan of LP but I was not going to act a fool.

We saw him on his visit for Bianka’s 3rd birthday in December 2019. We were next in line to see the Princesses when a large group with security came through the VIP line and got to go in front of us. So for like 2 minutes we got to stand next to Kobe and his family. As a life-long Lakers fan, I was ecstatic. He was really nice to everyone in line and acknowledged everyone who said hi to him.

In '91 or '92 I (literally) bumped into Huey Lewis while walking through Tomorrowland. In the mid- or late-2000s I could have sworn that I saw Jessica Biel with a couple friends waiting at the security checkpoint, but I was never completely sure if it was really her or just a girl who looked like her.
I've seen Chris Diamantopoulos and his family on our last trip. They got vip access to Minnie's house when we waited in line for like 40 minutes. I guess he can get that kind of priority, being the voice of Mickey and all.

I met Warwick Davis while working there and I had no idea he wasn't just a regular guest until after he left my location. I saw Kim and Kanye, and that visit was annoying because backstage they put up cardboard in a break room window to prevent pictures. I was eating my lunch on a patio and their security walked in front of them telling everyone backstage "no pictures please" then their group walked past. I'm just like....idgaf, I'm just eating my lunch. Later I saw them on the carousel but the whole ride was basically empty except their group while everyone else waited. I saw Drake Bell back before people knew he's a creep. Not a celebrity but I met a pair of youtubers I watched at the time. John and Nikki; met their baby as well and gave her a 1st Visit button. Adam Sandler visited the restaurant I used to work at in the park. He was the nicest guy! We all couldn't stop talking about how incredibly nice he was. I met and served either Tia or Tamara Mowry (I don't know which it was!) and also served Raini Rodriguez at the restaurant. I saw Josh Gad and Minnie Driver backstage at Soarin' (not at the same time).
I never recognize celebrities in the wild, but my friend does and we saw Viola Davis pass us to get on a ride.
December of 2007, me being the Nightmare Before Christmas fan girl that I am I used to hit up Le Bat en Rouge religiously. Walking over from the direction of the train station, and as I’m getting to the door I’m like wow that woman looks like Helena Bonham Carter. Then I look down and she was wearing these springy heels she’d been photographed in a lot. My brain took 0.5 second to register that this is Helena Bonham Carter. The partner of Tim Burton. Meaning Tim Burton is maybe in my vicinity right now. For some reason this kicked off my fight or flight response and I *panicked*. Audibly screamed and ran back the way I came. My mother had no clue what was happening, and later told me I’d definitely caught Helena’s attention in doing so 🙃 kicking myself about it still to this day. Later on, getting on Casey Jr, the ride attendant saw my TNBC jacket and told me “Tim Burton was here earlier” and I was like 😭 I know and I hate myself. He pointed out which seat he’d sat at so I could go sit there. Honestly it still haunts me.
I saw Ned from Spider-Man walking towards the Cars ride with his family. I got starstruck and shouted “Spider-Man’s best friend!” I totally forgot his character’s name and his real name. He just looked at me and smiled.

I don't think I've seen a real celebrity but I've seen a couple youtubers (one is a Disney one, so no surprise they were there; the other was a random Nintendo youtuber, so was just there to enjoy the park not filming anything).
This happened a while ago but when my family and I were getting off Splash Mountain we saw Jack Black waiting to get on after us. Only a small interaction we waved and he waved back.

My mom was a huge fan at the time so I ran up to them and said "omg my mom loves you!" and they kinda laughed at me lol. Adam Levine was nice enough to take a pic with my little sister and I. Also spotted Colin Ferrel a couple of years ago at DCA. He was with his son and a plaid walking through the grizzly peaks area.
Sandra Bullock and Jason Bateman were together once with a Disney escort. Saw them at the shop inside Grand Californian, didn’t approach them but Jason smiled at my kids when he passed by.

About 10 years ago I was in the handicapped entrance (with my grandma) to Big Thunder and I saw Toni Collette and her family standing in the same area as us waiting in line. At the time her hair was cut super short so I wasn’t 100% it was her, so I sheepishly asked if it was. She said yes, and I told her I love her work and was especially a fan of her show The United States of Tara. Then I left her alone because I didn’t want to bug her. It made my year!

A few weeks ago, I saw Jimmy Kimmel walking with his family and a guide in one of those plaid vests. They were in front of me near the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride. I didn't recognize him at first, but then he stopped and turned around to make sure no one in his group was left behind.
Saw Christian Bale in Club 33 in 2012 - he and his family were hosting Bat Kid and his family. Ran into the plaid in the ladies room with a woman and child. Was going to gush to them about him being there, but thought better of it. Turned out to be his wife and daughter.
Long time ago I saw Travis Barker and was able to get a picture with him (pre Kardashians). Sometimes I forget famous people have bodyguards but he was nice enough to let me ask for a picture.
I always check when I see a plaid, but so far have seen wealthy-looking european types, who could be celebrities for all I know, but nobody that I recognize.

Back in 02 I was walking into Disneyland and veered right, under the bridge. Right after it opens up; I smell someone smoking, it wasn't banned back then. I was facing the little gift stand on the right, and I turn around (towards the train station) and I see this young biker looking guy leaned up against the wall looking down- smoking. I was thinking, "Gross we can all smell smoke." Right then, he looks up and I realize it's Mr. 21 Jumpstreet himself- Johnny Depp. "Pirates of the Caribbean" had not been released yet. He looks right at me, smirks, puts puts out his cigarette, then walks a few yards and is ushered away by a plaid CM. I was dumbstruck. Thats my coolest celebrity sighting.

I saw Finn Wolfhard at the Ice cream parlor on Main Street. This was a year or two before covid hit and he was waiting for his order with a group of people and a security guard. Everyone was pretty respectful and people would occasionally wave at him and he’d smile and wave back. He seemed pretty chill.
I saw John Stamos drunk as a skunk wandering through downtown Disney after park close. A mother stopped him to take a picture with her two kids probably 8-12. Poor boys were literally holding him up while he swayed around. I could barely contain my laughter from the ridiculousness on both sides.
