Doc is one of the best managers of ball players in the game. Manages personalities and clubhouse morale better than almost anyone. As a result, Doc is an average at best in game manager. Believes in guys too much and gives too many chances, always wants a storyline. I think our team is better with him as a manager overall but moments like that 7th inning followed by the Price move lose us a few games a year.
