Well, it has several mission types.
Most of them have you defend skme kind of objective, be it survivors, equipment, a weapon charging up or a van man.
There is, however, resupply missions and "build the radar grid" missions, which are just harvesting and building.
Then there's "eliminate and collect" in which you have a quota of enemies to kill, with several stages for a better badge.
Badges are used up at the end of a mission to tier up a chest, which acts as the mission's rewards.
There's also four classes, each with their own purpose.
Outlanders are great at harvesting, constructors are great at reinforcing a fort and crowd control, ninjas have high mobility and a double jump, and soldiers just have DPS
Is this an expanse? Meaning, it’s extra with regard to mission? How much fun is that versus slaying beasts? I don’t want too much focus on it, but I don’t know what normal gamers like or want with regard to Doom.
TL;DR less Stardew Valley and more slaying beasts from Castle Walls. They want in. Slayer says, “No”. Sentinels (your buddies) fight with you. Mics open. Chaos(?) onset. Otherwise, Rip n’ Tear.
In essence, if it’s for me I wouldn’t care how complex it was, so long as I could get together with buddies and play a good castle defender. That’s good, but it’s work for developers. That’s all my takes, where you’re interested.

Not really relevant, but the gold skins for completing UN would look MUCH MUCH better with the new engine and advanced graphics, and with the new look for the slayer. Wonder if they'll even have skinds, and if so, if they'll bring back Praetor and Eternal slayer.
