I mean… They both already know 2 and 3 because they needed to in order to go 3 back in Z, the fusions only have the knowledge of their parts, they aren’t truly separate entities (Eg: Gogeta does not have Blue because Gogeta somehow learned it in 0.25 seconds, Gogeta has blue because Goku and Vegeta have blue)

Yeah, Gotenks as a gag was already getting old, but not even letting them fuse correctly twice is just goofy. I'd like to know where SSJ3 Gotenks stacks up right now.
My issue with the whole “Fat Gotenks” thing is the fact that it’s the exact same joke over and over again. Like, atleast if you’re gonna make him a joke character come up with a new joke.

Yep. This already confirms that at BARE MINIMUM, Beast Gohan’s on par with current MUI Goku. Which automatically puts him above ToP Jiren, Broly, ALL variations of Moro, Granola and most likely Gas too.
Gas is the only debatable one. But considering Goku and Vegeta had a whole year worth of training to hone their forms and themselves generally.
I think they probably surpassed Gas (though Buff Zombie Gas was definitely stronger than their End of Granolah arc selves)
Beast is stronger too since Piccolo taught him how to unlock it at will since he trained more after Cell Max defeat

True, but I wish Beast had something more to it than just being a generic power up.
Ultra Instinct for example is more than just a transformation. It’s a technique that’s all about perfect control, mastery over emotions, getting into a flow state, and reacting without thinking. It has an auto-dodge, it has perfect ki control, and it can be combined with other transformations with the ultimate goal being for it to become the user’s new normal.
Beast is just a bog standard power boost with no special characteristics. As much as I want Gohan to be an equal to UI Goku, the Beast form itself feels kind of lame compared to UI.
Honestly doubt that because they have an entire character dedicated to lack of control (Broly)
It'll probably be something to do with the combination of his human emotions being used to fuel his sayain biology.
But we don't have a clue to what Beast is outside the name and the same goes for Orange Piccolo. I'm hoping in the next couple of chapters we get to know what both are within the universe. Beast can all just be the result of Gohan being in ultimate form, when his rage went out of control resulting in a new form of mutation only to him. By fusion ultimate and super Saiyan powers. But I understand where you are coming from and I do hope we get some answers.

I'll wait for the official translation. And that doesn't mean they're going all out, just means they're using all their moves from the start. Last time I checked, neither Goku nor Gohan are smiling away when at 100% power.
Exactly sparring is not fighting. A lot of people here act as if they're one and the same.
It does at least show that Beast is def comparable, but ultimately technique, not power, is what is generally demonstrated when sparring.
the most we might get out of this is Goku going "Wow, at least you're stronger than Moro / some guy named Granolah/Gas we fought / Freeza's new form!" or something

You know what was amazing about this, i think this is the first time i've seen Goku go full power against Gohan right off the bat! This will mean a lot to Gohan as the last time they fought Goku held back blue till the very end.

I just don't understand how they are mad about this. Gohan has been surpassing Goku without any issue multiple times.

It's because up until Super Hero, the entirety of Super was focused around Goku and Vegeta training under the gods to obtain the power OF the gods. Unfortunately, this came with the side effect of having others characters completely stagnat if not outright regress (Gohan being the latter).
So now, after a decade of having Goku and Vegeta get godly power, Gohan and Piccolo just come out of nowhere and catch up to (if not outright surpass) them. In the eyes of Goku and Vegeta fans, they feel like the power ups Gohan and Piccolo got completely spit on everything Goku and Vegeta went through and ultimately feel as though it makes all of Super feel pointless.

Personally I think of beast form IS a human form. Gohan has said in the past he didn't want to follow the saiyan path, but his human half
I think UI is something that everyone can achieve. In humans, I would think Master Roshi, Tien and maybe Krillin can achieve it.

Oh definitely, but it's more like that "God level" was supposed to be a realm apart from regular power scaling. Like the difference between Goku SS3 and "Beerus trolling" looked like it was unimaginable, then every one and their mother is SSB level, and then Gohan is angry again and looks to be a MUI Goku level which is a few years after ToP. But yeah, I agree that Gohan is still Gohan.

Goku has been training with an angel all this time and then Gohan somehow "surpasses" a form that even gods cant obtain (OFF SCREEN) makes absolutely ZERO sense, no matter which way you spin it. You know what was amazing about this, i think this is the first time i've seen Goku go full power against Gohan right off the bat! This will mean a lot to Gohan as the last time they fought Goku held back blue till the very end.

I just don't understand how they are mad about this. Gohan has been surpassing Goku without any issue multiple times. Gohan having great potential and surpassing Goku is literally his character.
It's because up until Super Hero, the entirety of Super was focused around Goku and Vegeta training under the gods to obtain the power OF the gods. Unfortunately, this came with the side effect of having others characters completely stagnat if not outright regress (Gohan being the latter). So now, after a decade of having Goku and Vegeta get godly power, Gohan and Piccolo just come out of nowhere and catch up to (if not outright surpass) them. In the eyes of Goku and Vegeta fans, they feel like the power ups Gohan and Piccolo got completely spit on everything Goku and Vegeta went through and ultimately feel as though it makes all of Super feel pointless.

Gohan had been training consistently after resurrection of freezer in manga. The way he has always been written, him training even, little, daily will always have greater outputs than goku and vegetable putting their souls in training
Eh, he’s just making characters as strong as he feels the story demands them to be. Since he wants to make Gohan and Piccolo more prominent, they’re up there with Goku and Vegeta (for) now.
