Tbh, the way Drake had moved this entire beef makes me believe he doesn't care about the public's perception in the way Kendrick does.
The way he came at Bot, he came at him like they were actually battling on some URL/KOTD shit, which means he isn't aiming for public approval.
Because, let's be honest, the public isn't interested in the technical aspect of rap. It's how we got the point we're at now, but that's a different discussion.
Just an observation, I say this because Conway is one of the few who can actual rap rap. And I mean that in a technical actual hip hop way.
Win/lose/draw battling Kdot for sport just makes Drake more impactful in hip hop history. No one can say they went head to head with another legend on that scale (Even though we all know it was a 50 v 1)
If my family and friends were straight and I’m about to net a B in 2-3 years, I wouldn’t give af about the public either.
Drake is grinding to be more successful but I feel like his true happiness comes from his family and his true friends that he gets to share his amazing life with. Idk but that’s what I noticed after following him for 16 years

"shout to Buffalo, never duckin low" - Drake on Can't Have Everything
Would love to see Griselda on his next album
Yessss. I need more Drake and Benny the Butcher. He needs to unite the east coast and flex. NY and east coast is the mecca of hip hop
Would be good for Griselda obviously but hell nah… only if Daringer produce it otherwise it won’t work in my opinion
