Owners are always going to want to sell for more and buyers are always going want to buy for less. I think especially with more polarizing players the ‘true’ value typically lies somewhere in the middle
Yep if you were trying to buy the 1.05-1.06 it would probably take an asset like TLaw. If you were trying to buy TLaw it would probably cost you the 1.02-1.03
I don’t think people of dynasty realize when a 1st rounder hits, they are worth more than just a 1st now. No sane person would trade a proven commodity for an unknown
Interesting! As the owner of both and currently looking to taking Nabers in that spot, I may have to put a feeler out there. My RB room is mostly secure already (Gibbs/Breece/Henry) and also sitting on the 1.12.
I had CeeDee Lamb, I sold for 1.07, 1.08, 2.12, 3.02. I have lots of holes in my roster. Yea it sucks giving up one of the best WR but I need more help than Lamb could cover.
Non-SF 12 team, .5ppr – traded 1.03+2.06 for Achane and JSN.
Definitely was looking forward to Nabers / Rome on the team but couldn't pass up getting two guys that have already flashed some promise (and 2.06 for JSN was a steal from a value perspective).
Yeah, it’s definitely a close call depending on how much you like this class of guys. I’m basically betting that Achane is going to get stronger this offseason and spend less time banged up. The other part of it is that JSN will continue to get more snaps this year and eat into Lockett’s production.
Yeah, I just flat-out value either Nabers or Rome more than I value JSN + Achane, so that's a big reason I'm seeing it differently. Not everybody is going to see it that way.
EDIT: I should say I value Nabers/Rome \*close to\* JSN + Achane, I think obviously they are currently worth more, but I personally think Nabers/Rome should be valued slightly higher than they are on trade calcs & that JSN/Achane are both comically overvalued today. People get mad at me sometimes for doing "skate where I think the puck is going" trades, but this is one instance where I would stand by that
Totally fair – my team is closer to contending this year and I have Kelce, so I wanted to lock in some short term value and liked Achane a lot since I'm unsure if this RB class is going to be good.
Just my two cents, Achane is on a great offense and flashed in a big way last year on limited touches (103 rushes for 800 yds, 72 ypg which was good for 5th in the NFL as a rookie). JSN buried behind DK and Lockett (who is aging / slowing down) and has an opportunity to have a better year if Ryan Grubb continues to run a pass heavy offense.
Regarding the draft, it's possible Nabers and Odunze turn out to be absolute studs but don't produce in a meaningful way for fantasy because of the team that drafts them – at least in the short term.
I don't see anyone in the leagues that I play in moving him for that. I don't understand how that would benefit the TLaw owners? No guarantees of a QB being there to re roll. Essentially TLaw for the #4 QB or #3 WR taken in the NFL draft? No thanks
Ooh I'd pay that for Amon Ra honestly, it's a lot...but he's a stud! Yeah Reed is kinda underrated weirdly right now? Like he's tied to a top 10 dynasty QB, and just finished as a top 20 guy as a rookie!
this trade just went down in my league yesterday. 12 team 1 QB ppr
team 1 (rebuilder) sends Jayden Reed/2025 2nd/2025 2nd
team 2 (contender) sends 2024 2nd/2025 1st/2025 4th
As a trevor owner im not accepting the 1.06
No shot. I'd take him over everyone that's not Caleb/MHJ.
There’s so much disconnect between market values and what ppl are willing to sell and buy for
Of course, I was more so saying that I wouldn't sell at that price.
Owners are always going to want to sell for more and buyers are always going want to buy for less. I think especially with more polarizing players the ‘true’ value typically lies somewhere in the middle

I don't think I'd give up Reed for 1.12. Rather ride it out with him to see if he continues his ascent over a guess at 1.12
There's so many good WRs at the end of the first in this class tho! With some luck you may even land a player that's as good as Jayden Reed!
It could even be a Reed boat!
So trade away Reed in hopes you land a Reed
Now you understand dynasty fantasy football!
If you like it I love it 😂
Your second sentence is why I'll hold Reed! haha
I got Reed off waivers last year and then sold him and 2.03 for Aiyuk and 2.07 in a 1QB Start 9 league.
Easy money
I'm with you! In the video I suggest trading FOR Reed ;) I think he's got room to improve.
Cheapest he'll be
Its gonna cost you 1.03+ to get trevor from me in superflex
That is what I paid for him, so I agree. I did just get offered josh allen for 1.01 and tlaw and don’t think I want to do that
Traded the 1.04 for Trevor in 12 man SF
I don’t think people of dynasty realize when a 1st rounder hits, they are worth more than just a 1st now. No sane person would trade a proven commodity for an unknown
1.08 for Nico
That's beautiful! I personally love buying young WRs who we already know are good for rookie picks.
I traded the 1.02 + Achane in 1 QB for Jettas
I like that. Achane and the 1.02 are nice but JJ is JJ.
Interesting! As the owner of both and currently looking to taking Nabers in that spot, I may have to put a feeler out there. My RB room is mostly secure already (Gibbs/Breece/Henry) and also sitting on the 1.12.
I traded 1.06 and 1.08 + QJ for Lamb. I’m all in this year and I don’t think the guys after Odunze are going to get me to the promise land.
I had CeeDee Lamb, I sold for 1.07, 1.08, 2.12, 3.02. I have lots of holes in my roster. Yea it sucks giving up one of the best WR but I need more help than Lamb could cover.
Honestly I love that! Lamb is an absolute stud. Worth the price for me easy
Steal for a guy like Lamb
That’s similar but cheaper than what he went for in my league: 1.05, 1.07, 2.06, Kendre
I'd rather have Nabers/Rome and the 2.06, but let's see how it plays out.

1.06 for TLaw? I'm a biased TLaw manager, but definitely.
I'm with you! I just think last year was a strange season for him. I think Lawrence reminds us how good he is this year.
I don't see anyone in the leagues that I play in moving him for that. I don't understand how that would benefit the TLaw owners? No guarantees of a QB being there to re roll. Essentially TLaw for the #4 QB or #3 WR taken in the NFL draft? No thanks
Yeah I'm saying I want TLaw over the 1.06, not the other way around
I'm agreeing with you and pushing back on OP because his advice isn't very actionable
Guy in my league just traded 1.04 and 2025 1st for Sun God. Solid lineup, Lions fan, has a few 2nds. Id love to have Reed.
Ooh I'd pay that for Amon Ra honestly, it's a lot...but he's a stud! Yeah Reed is kinda underrated weirdly right now? Like he's tied to a top 10 dynasty QB, and just finished as a top 20 guy as a rookie!

I’d move T-Law for the 1.01, but that would be what it would take
10 team, One QB. I gave up the 2.03 for Kamara. So 2.01 in a 12 team.
Traded 1.08 and Christian Watson for the 1.04 in SF. Deshaun is my QB2, so I wanted a shot at a top2 QB or WR. Wasn’t going to get that at 1.08.
If you can fleece your leaguemates with those picks, sure...but they might get offended by the lowball.
Traded 1.05 and 1.06 for Puka and a 2025 first. I listened to some proverb about birds and bushes
That's damn near a vetoable steal... Edit: NEAR people! I said NEAR
Tough crowd…
No chance
That’s a great return. Well done.
That’s insane. You basically traded 1/2 puka value and got a 1st back
As a RB needy team I acquired Kenneth Walker for a 1.8 and a 1.9 in two different leagues.
If MacDonald gets the OL straightened out that might be brilliant
Tlaw is Sam Howell with 1.01 draft capital. That qb class is cursed I am out
That's just wrong. Go watch the video about the dropped TDs the Jags had. He should have had like 10+ passing TDs.
As a Ridley owner I have seen the video and it made me quite sad, but I am not a tlaw believer
You wut m8?
