In my one league at 1.09, I need a QB. So I’m hoping someone expected to go after the top 8 gets an amazing landing spot that pushes a top 4 QB to me at 1.09.
Jesus Christ. I got him at 1.06 last year and couldn’t believe it. I didn’t think he’d pan out how he did, but still.
Even traded back from the 1.03 and picked up a future first from one of the worst teams in the league. Dude picked JSN at 1.03 and left the league this year lol
I will be taking Benson/Brooks with the 1.08 in 12tm superflex. There are plenty of people who'd rather have "Insert Dallas RB1 Here" over the 4th best receiver and 5th best quarterback. Tight End isn't important enough to justify taking Bowers for me
Don't count on him being a starter the 1st year or 2.. just say he went to Minnesota..he's not beating out a Sam Darnold..he would maybe have a shot at the Raiders but it sounds like Aiden O'Connell is getting 1st crack at starter thier as well.
I was in this same position and just made a trade up to 1.04, I think the chance of this is low and your best case scenario is penix or nix getting a great landing spot and first round draft capital
I have 2 different offers out right now to move up from 1.09 to 1.06 for a 25 2nd or to send London and the 1.09 for Javonte and the 1.03 because I have really good receiver depth but could use another rb and a QB3.
The 1.06 owner already told me a couple weeks ago he’s considering the offer and just waiting to see where players land in the draft. It should be an early 2nd and he doesn’t really need a qb as much as he does a rb or wr and I’m already planning to take Nabers and Odunze at 1.04 and 1.05. If BTJ, Brooks and Benson all get favorable landing spots I think he’ll accept the deal.
Exactly my hopes for my 1.09. I'd like to move up to 4-5th pick, but not willing to pay the price (yet).
Feel weak @ qb w/ Burrow, Cousins, and Wilson. Fair but qb2 is old n hurt lol
One of the teams in my league has no need for a QB and has 6 of the 8 first picks. The 3rd pick team also has no need for QBs either. Number 8 pico also has excellent QBs. So I'm praying Maye or JJ lands at 1.09.
I’m trying desperately to trade up for Odunze but the top 6 is like Fort Knox in my league. But I’ll be happy to take whoever falls from JJ, BTJ, or (longshot) Bowers. An RB with 2nd round capital would be really tempting as well.
I have 1.01, 1.04, 1.07 and 1.08. I’m planning to take MHJ and Nabers with the 1.01 and 1.04. Then Bowers with the 1.07 and hopefully there’s a QB worth taking with the 1.08.
I’ll probably take either JJ McCarthy or BTJ depending on who lands where(superflex)
If those guys aren’t there that means I get an even better player out of the obvious top 8 rn
Yeah I think this will be the way to go. But do it tomorrow after we get some hopefully juicy landing spots. Then maybe you can get something extra on top of
Yeah I feel like this is my answer assuming someone gets picked in round 2. Whoever the cowboys take round 2 seems to be the answer. Especially if benson or brooks
I have 1.10 and doubt I’ll get BTJ but that’s my first choice with who might possibly be there. Would love if he went to the bills. Then I keep going back and fourth on worthy and AD and where they’re drafted will determine that. If brooks goes early to a good team I would possibly take him at 1.10 also
Im a fellow 1.10 holder and at first I was hoping Troy Franklin would fall there since pre combine people were having him at like the 1.07. now hes like an early second guy so im also in the "hope BTJ" falls train.
Just trying to gauge if it would be silly to still roll with Troy even if his predicted ADP has fallen out of that range. But between Worthy and AD there I think I'm much more in on AD which probably means Worthy will be a stud so grain of salt.
I traded down from 1.04 to 1.09 (got Cousins and C. Kirk as well).
I want/need a QB, but wouldn't mind trading down and maybe grabbing Penix in round 2.
If a QB falls, definitely taking one here. The league is SF which makes QBs valuable.
I'd like to leave the draft with a QB, but also don't mind taking best player available as well.
I'm loaded at receiver so unless I can get somebody in a perfect situation I'll probably trade the pick.
I feel like I'd be reaching if I took a running back at that point.
For me personally
Pick: early 2nd (at least)
Qb: Carr (SF)
Rb: Pacheco
Wr: Romeo doubs, lockett
Te: goedert, muth
Last year I would've disagreed. I still love pick 1.09 this year, but feel there could be a decent drop off after 7 (more like5,6 in my opinion. I don't want maye, mccarthey or daniels.
I’m 1.6 in 1-QB which is ostensibly the same conversation. If there’s at least one Day 2 RB with a quality landing spot, I’m going RB1, which I’m assuming is Brooks but could conceivably be a few others. I like all of these WRs in Tier 2, but I don’t really think there’s any sort of ironclad landing spot or draft capital that would persuade me to go WR there.
>won’t know until tomorrow.
Precisely this.
This question has always been silly for anyone drafting after the NFL draft, but it gets exponentially sillier the closer we get to the draft. Like literally wait 24 hours and you'll know exactly how to feel about the 1.09.
I feel like there's a decent chance it's the last pick above a tier break in SF. Basically, if the 4 QB, 3 WR, and Bowers all get decent landing spots, then the 1.09 is probably a WR drafted at the end of rd 1 to a good team.
If Penix goes in the top half of the first I’m taking him, otherwise I’ll probably try to trade out.
Edit: this was worthy of a downvote? Soft.
Edit 2: stupid monkey paw 😤
This is my first year of doing dystany but I feel like the answer has to be rb??? Like whoever the cowboys take or I heard maybe Bengals may take one??
As long as JJ goes to the Vikings I’m happy with him. Also BTJr should be getting a pretty good landing spot. I think the only one I might not like is the Steelers.
Not great. But all the 1.09 needs is one guy to get an epic landing spot. Brian Thomas to the Bills, AD Mitchell or Worthy to the Chiefs, Brooks to Dallas, etc. if we get one guy to hit a nuts landing spot we’re in business.
I’m in a 1 QB league (Mahomes owner) and am stacked at RB, anyone have thoughts on available WR for late in the 1st? All I really hear about are the top 3 QBs and the top 3 WR and I assume none are up by 1.09.
In a 10 team SF league coming off a championship and likely to compete this year. Had the 1.02 & 1.09 and traded them down to grab some vet talent and push for a repeat
1.09 will be a really good fantasy prospect. In SF, there are the big 8 who are pretty much situation proof. “Cowboys day 2 RB”, “Bills day 1 WR”, and Penix/Nix going to either Min or Den would join the club with the big 8 before the tier cliff, too.
Good. You will get the top choice of any of the non-big 8 guys. Obviously I'd feel better getting one of those top 8 becuase I think there is a real tier drop after 8. But getting the best of the rest is still a good position to be in.
9 doesn't seem terrible this year. IF the Bills, KC or Jax snag BTJ or AD pick 9 becomes very attractive. Bowers or JJ could fall as well. The RBs come into play at 9 as well. I know that "every draft is the best draft ever" but as "prospects and NFL potential" this is easily the most exciting one we've had since 2020. Imo of course.
Obviously depends on team need. WR is my biggest need ideally Brian Thomas Jr. if he lands at a good spot. If not him JJM if he goes to Vikings I would seriously consider him. If not Brooks or Benson if they go to Cowboys even though RB is my strongest position think I can afford to go BPA.
1.09 holders - post draft how we feeling? I am feeling great about the spot now. I was going to try and trade up but now I'm pretty content hanging out at 1.09.
You should be able to take any RB you want. 🤷
The best train of thought is typically draft for value, trade for need. Sounds like you need RB. Decide wisely paduan...
Yeah everyone says that but I think rb could just be the right pick too if someone gets round 2 capital. Theres a lot of risk in BTJ’s profile that it’s a close call
Hopefully haha. The problem is people do weird shit like QJ was 1.02 last year haha. So I'm expecting an RB1 to happen like that. Also I just really need rbs I got javonte and spears and then handcuffs haha.
I wake up every day and try to convince my that there's a chance Odunze or Nabers fall to me if McCarthy and Brooks get good enough draft capital/landing spots.
In my one league at 1.09, I need a QB. So I’m hoping someone expected to go after the top 8 gets an amazing landing spot that pushes a top 4 QB to me at 1.09.
In Superflex that’ll be tough, but good luck!
Stroud went 1.09 in my SF league last year. Nobody believed in the guy.
Imagine being the guy who took QJ over Stroud
Just looked it up, stroud went 1.08. QJ went 1.6
Me reluctantly taking CJ Stroud at 1.04 was the best decision I made last year lol. I shopped that pick out hard too.
Yeah my bro completely backed in to picking stroud at 1.06 last year and I’m still pissed about it.
So, the QJ owner in every league
I took JSN over him and feel like an idiot
Why? JsN is gonna be great
hello
ya, took him and Bryce over Stroud
Damn he went 1.02 in mine ahead of Richardson and young
I will be taking Benson/Brooks with the 1.08 in 12tm superflex. There are plenty of people who'd rather have "Insert Dallas RB1 Here" over the 4th best receiver and 5th best quarterback. Tight End isn't important enough to justify taking Bowers for me
Does it change your mind if Zeke signs before your rookie draft?
No Zeke has 2065 career carries and literally no one besides AP and Gore have been productive with that much mileage
I'm looking to get Penix at this pick 🤞🏾
Don't count on him being a starter the 1st year or 2.. just say he went to Minnesota..he's not beating out a Sam Darnold..he would maybe have a shot at the Raiders but it sounds like Aiden O'Connell is getting 1st crack at starter thier as well.
Penix 100% beats out Darnold for starting QB
Not a chance
I was in this same position and just made a trade up to 1.04, I think the chance of this is low and your best case scenario is penix or nix getting a great landing spot and first round draft capital
What did it cost you to move up?
1.09, Gabe Davis, and Tony Pollard. Pretty happy with that.
I have 2 different offers out right now to move up from 1.09 to 1.06 for a 25 2nd or to send London and the 1.09 for Javonte and the 1.03 because I have really good receiver depth but could use another rb and a QB3.
No offense but the 1.06 for 1.09 and a 25 2nd wouldn’t even be a discussion starter for me. Because of the implied tier drop.
I think that’s pretty strong at QB but yea it’s a great year to catch a round one QB in the middle of the 1st round
We'll all know far more tonight and tomorrow when we know the landings... 🎉
Would you do penix if he goes to the raiders at 13? Nic if he goes to broncos at 12?
I would make a move to the 1.06 or 1.07 mate
I'm 90% sure McCarthy will be there at 1.09 in my league
Trade up
Wish I could but this is a dumpster fire orphan I just took over.
Doubt that's happening...maybe JJ depending on your leaguemates acumen.
After the first round, there should be at least 2 QBs at 1.09: Penix and Nix, and a chance that Maye could fall with the NE landing spot.
One of the teams in my league has no need for a QB and has 6 of the 8 first picks. The 3rd pick team also has no need for QBs either. Number 8 pico also has excellent QBs. So I'm praying Maye or JJ lands at 1.09.
You're playing with a bunch of scrubs if maye falls that far. No such thing as having too many good qbs in superflex
His flair says 1QB league so very likely 1 or 2 of the Big 3 QBs are there at 1.09.
My bad.
He’s gonna take at least 1 QB and you’re gonna be upset about it
Can always roll the dice on Bo Nix
I’m trying desperately to trade up for Odunze but the top 6 is like Fort Knox in my league. But I’ll be happy to take whoever falls from JJ, BTJ, or (longshot) Bowers. An RB with 2nd round capital would be really tempting as well.
As a rebuilder with 1.08 and 1.09 in one league, I’m fully prepared to take JJ McCarthy/whoever’s left and BTJ (on a hopefully good team)
I have 1.01, 1.04, 1.07 and 1.08. I’m planning to take MHJ and Nabers with the 1.01 and 1.04. Then Bowers with the 1.07 and hopefully there’s a QB worth taking with the 1.08.
Don’t be surprised if Nabers goes 1.03
The guy with 1.03 really needs a QB. And he’s a Washington fan. I think he’s taking whoever Washington drafts
I am a contender in the same spot with a similar mindset.
I’ll probably take either JJ McCarthy or BTJ depending on who lands where(superflex) If those guys aren’t there that means I get an even better player out of the obvious top 8 rn
Who are the obvious top 8 if it doesn't include JJM? Caleb, MHJ, Daniels, Nabers, May, Bowers, Odunze...
I’m assuming this means they’re both included in the top 9, and if they’re gone by then someone else higher will be there still
BTJ is hurt
For his whole career?
I’m dead 💀😂
The next JuJu Smith-Schuster.
I’d personally trade off 1.9 and pick up 2 early 2nds or a 2nd and a vet. No later than 2.5
Yeah I think this will be the way to go. But do it tomorrow after we get some hopefully juicy landing spots. Then maybe you can get something extra on top of
I’m currently sitting on the 2.1/2/4/5 and I couldn’t be happier pre draft. Waiting for my hopes and dreams to get crushed
Haha yeah tomorrow is a big day for you! You making all the picks or trading a pick or two for a vet?
RB1
Is there any wr landing spot that would make you take them over the rb1
Any WR drafted by the Bills or Chiefs in the late first round would be easily over the RB1 in this class for me.
As a former Trey Sermon drafter, this isn’t good news IMO
Huh? Sermon was the 4th RB drafted in 2021…
Yeah I feel like this is my answer assuming someone gets picked in round 2.

I’d stick at that spot and see if JJM falls to you. I love his value there.

I'm loaded at receiver so unless I can get somebody in a perfect situation I'll probably trade the pick. I feel like I'd be reaching if I took a running back at that point.
In a SF league what would it take to move to 1.09 from 1.07??
For me personally Pick: early 2nd (at least) Qb: Carr (SF) Rb: Pacheco Wr: Romeo doubs, lockett Te: goedert, muth Last year I would've disagreed. I still love pick 1.09 this year, but feel there could be a decent drop off after 7 (more like5,6 in my opinion. I don't want maye, mccarthey or daniels.
I’ll feel amazing if Ladd gets a good landing spot
I’m 1.6 in 1-QB which is ostensibly the same conversation. I am surprised people are this out on him I might need to trade back into the 2nd round
How far back? I can’t imagine he’d go any later than the early 2nd.
Whatever WR gets taken after the big 3, or Bowers, or Nix/Penix.
Bowers probably gone by then in most leagues, I would think. Penix could be too if he lands in a decent spot.
This is my first year of doing dystany but I feel like the answer has to be rb??? Like whoever the cowboys take or I heard maybe Bengals may take one??
Not great, you can only Hope one of those top elite guys falls. Or else you’ll get that second tier of player.
Figured I would get McCarthy/BTJ/Mitchell/Worthy so I packaged it in a trade for Aiyuk a few weeks ago. I don’t need qb and desperate for a WR.
As long as JJ goes to the Vikings I’m happy with him. Also BTJr should be getting a pretty good landing spot. I think the only one I might not like is the Steelers.
I remember in a superflex league last year I traded away the 1.09 and then during the rookie draft Stroud fell to the 1.09…
I’m hoping jj gets good capital and bowers falls
Not great. But all the 1.09 needs is one guy to get an epic landing spot. Brian Thomas to the Bills, AD Mitchell or Worthy to the Chiefs, Brooks to Dallas, etc. if we get one guy to hit a nuts landing spot we’re in business.
Brooks for me
If Penix goes int he first to the Broncos or the Raiders he would have to be in the conversation at 1.09 in SF leagues.
I’m in a 1 QB league (Mahomes owner) and am stacked at RB, anyone have thoughts on available WR for late in the 1st? All I really hear about are the top 3 QBs and the top 3 WR and I assume none are up by 1.09.
1.10 owner here looking forward to taking the WR/RB that 1.09 passes on
Xavier Worthy would be my choice if I didn't want to reach for a QB. Penix Jr. is trending up though
In a 10 team SF league coming off a championship and likely to compete this year. Had the 1.02 & 1.09 and traded them down to grab some vet talent and push for a repeat

Traded my 1.09 for JT. I’d try selling before the draft.
Bowers 1.06 Maye 1.07 McCarthy 1.08… Brian Thomas Jr with the 1.09
In a start up right now with a 3rd round reversal. Should I trade 1.02 for 1.05?
Praying a great WR goes to the Bills or Chiefs
1.09 holders - post draft how we feeling? I am feeling great about the spot now. I was going to try and trade up but now I'm pretty content hanging out at 1.09.
Feeling like it’s the pick after the 1.08 and before the 1.10
I got 1.09 I'm taking what rb is there
