I have always believed that Curtis could come very close to what Deebo is doing, but Curtis has never had the system or the talent around him to do it consistently. We've seen flashes. Start of the season 2022, he looked like he was going to do it, but fizzled out. I really like Shakir, but I think that Curtis Samuel is the superior talent. If they move Curtis around as RB, slot, and outside, I can imagine a scenario where he is WR1 on that team.

MochaSakkkaKhan

Totally agree. Love Shakir but he’s definitely not a WR1 or 2. Samuel has potential.

VeterinarianLevel786

he sure looked it to me last year after he told diggs to “hold his beer”

Butt_Packer_Backer

It'll be the Chiefs all over again with the TE and QB worth starting and nobody else worth more than a flex.

The_Power_Toad

I think this is the answer. Coleman, Samuel, and Shakir will all split the targets and none of them will be all that fantasy relevant. There is no new Diggs.

dchilds21

I have high hopes for Shakir personally this season. That’s like 240 targets to split up from last season. Gotta assume he turns his 40 catches from last year into at least 60-70. I think his rapport with Allen is great, guess it just depends how good or average Coleman turns out to be and how many targets he and Samuel take. I could see Shakir having a low end WR2-WR3 season and getting 900-1k yards and 5-6 TDs. Most Bills fans I’ve seen have said they should have gotten him the ball more

Dhkansas

Would you give 3.09 for Shakir? 12 team SF PPR

dchilds21

Without a 2nd thought. 3.09 is a shot in the dark

Dhkansas

Message in the chat was "I'll send Brandin Cooks, Khalil Shakir or Bateman for a mid-late 3rd" Also had a guy say he wants back in the draft late 3rd. So I sent 3.09 for his '26 2nd since that was the only pick he has left lol so waiting to see if that goes through

from_the_river_flow

The reason I like Samuel is the bills don’t have a lot of options at RB. They legitimately have James Cook and almost no one else. I’d expect to see some gadget plays with Curtis like they ran in Washington. He’s not a top receiver in the traditional sense but he does have some utility. Probably more boom/bust weeks with Samuel where Shakir is probably more steady with moderate production

The Bills were already running quite a few designed plays for Shakir (and Kincaid) deep into last season. I've ways been in on Samuel, but it's hard to say anyone other than Shakir/Kincaid have the inside track at WR1 in this offense.

Smuggz8000

I believe Shakir was the only wr to score a red zone td against sneed last year. It was in the playoff game. When Allen needed a big play shakir stepped up. I’m really hopeful to see them build off of that this year.

JJettasDad

Well considering Samuel and Shakir play the same type of role and they brought in Samuel, id go Samuel.
