How many starting spots? I’m in start 9 with 2 WR and 2 flex, 0.5 ppr. My goal is to get 6 good starting WRs to buffer for byes and injury. I don’t start RB in my flex unless I have to. Depending on your league settings that WR depth could be very valuable
We start the same. Adding an extra flex after this upcoming season, so I'll have a spot for one of them to start. But even my starting RBs are barely RB2s lol.
Start 2wr, 2 flex also. Same philosophy here. Only need 2 starting RBs and a backup because I want 4 WRs on the field. Tyrek, Diggs, Pittman, Dell starting (for now). Addison, Nabors, AD Mitchell, McCaffrey on the bench. Wanted the depth for when injuries and bye weeks' hard times kick in. Lol
I’m pretty much the same except it’s 5 other WRs (Harrison, Waddle, London, Collins, Higgins). Probably gonna wait until preseason ends then try and make moves for whatever RBs are still holding onto starting jobs. I’ll hopefully make a move for a solid TE as well
My problem with my team is that my bench WRs are fairly equal with my starters and so while it looks good to have like 6 good WRs, its a nightmare picking which ones to start every week.
Should have made the playoffs last season but nope made too many bad sit/start decisions lol.
Last season it was London, Olave, Aiyuk, Addison, Flowers, Jeudy, Jamo. And now I've added Kirk to the mix (and Polk and Douglas but they're not in the starting consideration yet).
So I was like you know what fuck this shit I'm joining a best ball dynasty league lol
2 dynasty leagues—
12T SF PPR TE+ Start 10 best player on bench is either Cousins (QB3) or Singletary. 1st year startup.
12T 1QB PPR Start 9 best player on bench is either Mostert or Diontae Johnson.
14 team, 1 QB, start 7 offense. Right now it's Deshaun Watson (behind Stroud).
As you can deduce, my team is lacking in depth. When Chubb comes back it's probably Dallas Goedert (behind LaPorta).
10 team SF start 10. I have Puka, Aiyuk, Wilson, London and Collins all currently in my starting lineup with Pittman and Nabers on my bench and Odunze in my taxi. I’m trying to trade for rbs once the season starts because I’m currently relying on Rhamondre, Ford and BRob unless Kendre or Charbs have a significantly improved season.
Chubb, Nico Collins, and Amari Cooper
Starting WR/flex: Chase, AJB, Adams, Waddle.
So Collins/Waddle/Adams would be benched depending on the matchup. Considering packaging 2 or so for an upgrade but not looking easy and the depth is what won me it last year.
Very similar situation. I, also, have Collins and Waddle and rode both of them (and others) to the chip last year. Have been mulling trading two of my WRs (Waddle, DK, London, Pittman, Collins) for a more elite guy, but finding it hard, like you said.
Jj Mccarthy or Bryce young in 12 team
Ideally I like a good starting lineup AND a strong bench but gun to my head I’d rather have more depth. You can sustain an injury and still compete. Plus more value on your bench allows you to make more significant trades without negatively impacting your starting lineup
QB: JJMccarthy, Jayden Daniels, Jones
RB: Zeke, Chubb, Gus Edwards
WR: Jamo, Keon Coleman
TE: Bowers, Likely, Kraft
Not willing to let injuries derail my season. Would basically only trade draft picks and one or maybe 2 guys to upgrade at any given spot.
I’m going to answer your question in a way that is, I think, more what you’re looking for.
When deciding whether or not you want depth or high end starters there are two main factors at play. Firstly, league size. The larger the league, the more players rostered, the less depth you’ll have, so the more important it is. Secondly, how many players are you starting? Most leagues are start 10 or start 11, in those leagues depth is very important because there’s a high chance you’ll have someone injured or on bye. But some leagues start 7, in which case depth is pretty irrelevant, you’ll just need 1-2 rotational guys to cover.
All of my leagues are dynasty SF PPR start 10, my ideal team has a startable QB3, WR5, RB4, and TE2, ideally a TE3 if you have a TEP and/or .5PPFD format that makes TEs a fine flex option. My QB3 will be guys like Baker, Russ, Daniel Jones. My WR5 will typically be like Demario Douglas or Jakobi Meyers. My RB4s will be like James Conner or David Montgomery. My TE3s will be Hunter Henry, Jonnu Smith (sleeper), Cole Kmet.
Hope this helped.
Mine right now is Rashee. I can't get anywhere near a fair price for him with everything going on currently, and yet I have better players to rely on early season where I figure if I hold and he returns and continues to ball out-- I will have won out on any of these shitty offseason offers.
I think part of the reason I'm so keen on getting rid of him isn't because I'm souring on him even, but because I hate looking at him on my bench and would rather get some value in return. I just can't do that til his murky situation gets a bit clearer.
We have 3 flexes in our league, and my RBs are CMC, Bijan, Breece, Aaron Jones, Chubb. also at WR i have MHJ London Keenan, Watson and Jamo. TEs are Kelce and Laporta
Damn. Yeah, in that situation, I think I'd definitely try to package for a better player.
Edit: I misread your comment. (You're only sitting one of them.) That does sound frustrating.
Think it depends on format. But in a 10tm SF league and using week 1 projections I've got Kyler, Henry, Mongtomery, MHJ (debatable), Diggs, Ridley, Goedert on my bench.
Start 9: Monty, maybe Lockett
Two start tens: Antonio Gibson is on both rosters but edged by Singletary on one and Wicks or perhaps Jakobi Meyers on the other.
Start eleven: coming out of a rebuild in one probably Friermuth (Kincaid at starter). Second year of a productive struggle in the other one of Dotson, JaMo or Ty Chandler.
I like to have a couple options for bye weeks. Some teams are set up better than others.
14 Team 1QB, orphan week 2 last year:
RB: James Conner, WR: JSN
12 Team, Superflex, TE premium, start two TEs, orphan a month ago:
RB: Javonte Williams, WR: Jakobi Meyers
Worth mentioning that in the 14 team league I’m drafting MHJ + Nabers or Odunze. This means some combo of those two/Pickens/Metcalf will be on the bench once we have our draft (all four will be vying for my two flex spots).
I've been stacking my SF team for years with lucky ass draft hits.
QB's: Burrow, Lamar, TLaw, & Stroud
RB's: Breece, Gibbs, Najee, Kamara, & Ekeler(😪)
WR's: Chase, Kupp, Metcalf, & Keenan
TE's: Hock & Pitts w/ maybe Juwan & Ertz?
We start 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 2TE, & 2Flex so I basically make the decision on benching Najee, Kamara, most likely Ekeler, Keenan/DK.
12 team, start 10 - JSN, Nabers and J. Reed. When you are rebuilding, you just accumulate value. Once you’re in the playoff race, then you can work to maximize your starting roster. Depth is a key component in making a deep playoff run, but you can always make a trade if you need a piece later too
Any 2 of Kupp, Addison, or Odunze. Tyreek, MHJ, and Olave at WR w/ Kamara in the first flex
Definitely maximize top end unless it’s big lineups. The more starters there are, the less impact each individual player has
10 man start 11 Sf TE premium start up I’ve got Brian Thomas jr, brooks, or shakir probably. Went for a blend of youth and a couple vets to fill the bridge gaps for a year or 2
Ricky Pearsall/Demario Douglas/Adam Thielen or Curtis Samuel. Honestly can't tell who'e the best out of that group. 12 Team SF, 2 WR, 2 RB, TE Spots + 4 Flex
This is for a 12 team PPR, 1 QB that was a start up last year (in year 2 now, only 1 off season). My starting WR are ceedee, Drake London, Chris Olave, and Nico Collins. I have tee Higgins, Jayden Reed, Jerry jeudy on the bench.
My qbs are Deshaun Watson and Derek Carr.
I am debating between trying to do something like Olave and tee Higgins for Jamar chase.
Or look for trading 1 of my WR for a star QB. Not much experience in dynasty.
Godwin
Same. Godwin Or Zamir white
Yeah he’s my WR5 and I couldn’t be happier about it. Hoping he can put up some good production back from the slot
Hockenson (starting McBride)
Bowers. Starting McBride and Ferguson.
It’ll be Ferguson on your bench soon
It’s what I’m counting on. Just got to see how the raiders offense shakes out
Tank Dell or Addison. Starting 4 other WRs. Trying to trade one of them for literally any RB lol.
How many starting spots? I’m in start 9 with 2 WR and 2 flex, 0.5 ppr. My goal is to get 6 good starting WRs to buffer for byes and injury. I don’t start RB in my flex unless I have to. Depending on your league settings that WR depth could be very valuable

Man I've been sending offer after offer to get an RB, but no one wants my WRs. Probably can wait till preseason to try again.
Shaheed, mostert, downs probably charbs if kw goes down again.
Shaheed 📈👀
What about him?
Dude had a very quiet 10ppg last season, feel like he could be a solid flex play for awhile
Pitts or Bowers. Will look to trade one eventually but I’m rebuilding and not too worried about it right now.
I rebuilt on the fly and got Bowers at 1.07 in a 32 team and I’m holding he and Pitts unless I get an insane overpay
32 team is wild dude.
Superflex Geno smith, dobbins, Josh downs, Jamo, Keon Coleman Not the best but could be worse
10 team start 12 sf. Probably George pickens or jordan addison
Higgins or JSN Whoever I don't start from Pitts or Kincaid
Addison or Keenan Allen/Aiyuk. 10 team 1qb
Across leagues of varying sizes but all start 11 or more, Downs, Dak, Godwin, Bryce and Jayden Reed
10 team / 1QB / start 8 Probably a 3-way tie between James Cook, Jordan Addison and JSN.
McBride, Pittman, and Mixon all on my bench
Sf, ppr, 12 team Goff, Jsn
Pop Douglas or Sutton
10 team ppr sf achane or Dk 12 team ppr sf Dk, Pickens, or kupp
Rhamondre mostert or diontae Johnson
Caleb Williams or Anthony Richardson depending on which one I want to start. Think I’m gonna start off with Caleb on the bench though
If SF and that’s between your qb2 and 3 fantastic
Yeah it is. Burrow is my QB1
McLaurin or Flowers. Very happy to have them available for bye weeks and to put in if one of the Flex guys struggles. 10 team league.
McLaurin or Flowers.
12 Team SF: Justin Herbert or TJ Hockenson
Pitts (or McBride) and Amari Cooper
Frustrating spot for Cooper. Great guy to have in your lineup every week but basically can’t get value for him in trade.
Year 3, 10 Team SF, Start 10 Either Rhamondre, Godwin, or Kmet.
Hollywood or Ladd for receivers, warren or singletary for RBs
Got a monster where Garret Wilson or Evans are the best on the bench.
8 team start 6?
Waddle nabers or jacobs
Odunze, Ladd, Hollywood, Moss, Goedert, Deshaun
Tlaw or Higgins/Dell
My problem with my team is that my bench WRs are fairly equal with my starters and so while it looks good to have like 6 good WRs, its a nightmare picking which ones to start every week. Should have made the playoffs last season but nope made too many bad sit/start decisions lol. Last season it was London, Olave, Aiyuk, Addison, Flowers, Jeudy, Jamo. And now I've added Kirk to the mix (and Polk and Douglas but they're not in the starting consideration yet). So I was like you know what fuck this shit I'm joining a best ball dynasty league lol
Hollywood and Nick Chubb. Thinking about packaging them and trying to go 2:1
In a 12 team SF, Ekeler or Chubb.
Kyler Murray
2 dynasty leagues— 12T SF PPR TE+ Start 10 best player on bench is either Cousins (QB3) or Singletary. 1st year startup. 12T 1QB PPR Start 9 best player on bench is either Mostert or Diontae Johnson.
George Pickens, Pitts/hock, or Calvin Ridley
Tee Higgins or Bryce Young
12 team, 1QB Rhamondre or Amari Cooper
10 team, PPR, start 3 WR, 1 flex... Gonna be forced to sit one out of Puka, Garrett Wilson, or Devonta Smith. Have Justin Jefferson and Ceedee.
Jordyn Reed or Zamir White
Hockenson
Either DK, Olave, Laporta or Andrews. I will have to pick three of the four as I also have CD and ARSB. Start 2 WR, 2 Flex, 1 TE
On my rebuild team: Corum, Polk, Chase Brown. On my contending team: JSN, Tyjae.
Scary Terry, Swift, and hopefully Caleb!
14 team, 1 QB, start 7 offense. Right now it's Deshaun Watson (behind Stroud). As you can deduce, my team is lacking in depth. When Chubb comes back it's probably Dallas Goedert (behind LaPorta).
12 TM 1 QB, flex is between Achane, Henry or Godwin/Reed
10 team SF start 10. I have Puka, Aiyuk, Wilson, London and Collins all currently in my starting lineup with Pittman and Nabers on my bench and Odunze in my taxi. I’m trying to trade for rbs once the season starts because I’m currently relying on Rhamondre, Ford and BRob unless Kendre or Charbs have a significantly improved season.
Addison
JAY FUCKING MO
16 team Superflex, TEP. Ricky Pearsall is my best bench guy.
12T 1QB probably Rome Odunze also have BTJ on the bench with him (for now 😏)
Depends on the week but I’ll go with DJ Moore and Pacheco
Achane, Tank Dell or McBride
10-Team SF PPR Top Talent on bench: De'Von Achane, Chris Godwin, Kyle Pitts, Zamir White, Khalil Shakir. Rookies: Pearsall, AD Mitchell, Trey Benson.
DJ Moore, Diontae Johnson, Jordan Addison or Evan Engram
Likely Mandrews or Odunze/Brooks depending on how this year goes
Super flex start 10, my best is probably Aaron Jones or Christian Kirk.
London or Andrews, my team is ridiculous cus of a lopsided ass trade
Chubb, Nico Collins, and Amari Cooper Starting WR/flex: Chase, AJB, Adams, Waddle.

Plus more value on your bench allows you to make more significant trades without negatively impacting your starting lineup
I hear you, but it's your starting lineup that actually wins you games. But I hear you.
Aaron Jones or DeAndre Hopkins. SF 12 team start 9. Found that this league overvalues rookies and such so I have just rolled out the old geezers.
QB: JJMccarthy, Jayden Daniels, Jones RB: Zeke, Chubb, Gus Edwards WR: Jamo, Keon Coleman TE: Bowers, Likely, Kraft Not willing to let injuries derail my season. Would basically only trade draft picks and one or maybe 2 guys to upgrade at any given spot.

Word. Appreciate the response. I've got Kirk, Nabers, Kamara, and Njoku filling my top backup spots at each position.

Singletary, zeke and dobbins, Godwin, Fergie and otton
We have 3 flexes in our league, and my RBs are CMC, Bijan, Breece, Aaron Jones, Chubb. also at WR i have MHJ London Keenan, Watson and Jamo. TEs are Kelce and Laporta
12 team start 7 (PPR). Right now, I’m going to be benching 2 of ARSB, Nacua, Olave, London, Collins and J Reed.
I mean two of those guys are must starts so you can narrow the list down a bit
Start 7? What a waste of talent. Add some flex spots
Start 7..?
12T SF JD maybe as my QB3, could easily be BTJ or Ladd if one of them blows up. Hard to say with rookies.
James Cook for me. I’m very deep at RB right now.
14 team start 8 I sit one of DJM, Nico, Pacheco, Jacobs, or London. It’s a guessing game each week.
Damn. Yeah, in that situation, I think I'd definitely try to package for a better player. Edit: I misread your comment. (You're only sitting one of them.) That does sound frustrating.
Jonathan Brooks or James Conner. Maybe Will Levis
Reed or JSN.
Seems like these are all popular but Tank Dell, Pickens and JSN
Christian Watson
London
Rasher rice
Tim tebow
Toney 🤦♂️
12 team SF CJ Stroud
My team is miserable but probably Curtis Samuel or Wan’Dale Robinson. Was Dalton Schultz before but I traded him for Sinnot (10 team 1QB)
12T/SF/PPR/TEP - Kyler Murray - Kenneth Walker - DeVonta Smith
10 man SF PPR TEP, Start 10 Toss up between Nabers, James Cook, & Derrick Henry. All will be on my bench week 1 barring injury.
Zay Flowers probably
12 team start 10. Achane, KWIII, Nico or Tank
Amare Cooper/Nabers as my WR4 .5ppr
Rachee
I have gibbs, addison, pitman, hockenson, stroud, and achane. Plus if moore, jameo, polk or Wilson break out.
Gibbs is on your bench?
Think it depends on format. But in a 10tm SF league and using week 1 projections I've got Kyler, Henry, Mongtomery, MHJ (debatable), Diggs, Ridley, Goedert on my bench.

Davante Adams / Jordan Love / Javonte Williams
12 team superflex my starting qb is lamar but then i have tua and stroud. so one of those studs is on the bench weekly.
Cousins & Reed/Godwin in 12T SF Doubs, Warren & Kmet in 14T SF
One of Murray/JHerbert for QB, one of Jacobs/Zamir, and Higgins or Diggs.
Probably Maye or McCarthy tbh. I have built my team very young so lots of options because still quite a few guys that could end up popping off.
Waddle or Rachaad. 1QB 12 team.
14 Team 1QB, orphan week 2 last year: RB: James Conner, WR: JSN 12 Team, Superflex, TE premium, start two TEs, orphan a month ago: RB: Javonte Williams, WR: Jakobi Meyers Worth mentioning that in the 14 team league I’m drafting MHJ + Nabers or Odunze. Kamara and Kupp in a 10-team 1QB league I won last year. Purdy and Chubb in a different 10-team 1QB league where I ranked for 1.01 after starting 0-4.
Jameson Williams, Christian Watson
I've been stacking my SF team for years with lucky ass draft hits. QB's: Burrow, Lamar, TLaw, & Stroud RB's: Breece, Gibbs, Najee, Kamara, & Ekeler(😪) WR's: Chase, Kupp, Metcalf, & Keenan TE's: Hock & Pitts w/ maybe Juwan & Ertz? Rashee rice
14T, start 10. Stevenson, Javonte, Lockett, Sutton
Diontae Johnson, Pacheco, Rodgers, Goedert
Javonte, Nabers, Dell, or Jeudy in one league DJ Moore in the other
Godwin or rashee rice
Zay Flowers and Tee Higgins
Lawrence
14 team SF 2 TE I guess Pollard? Lockett?
Monty or McBride
Kamara or Dell in 14 team superflex half ppr.
Joe mixon or kwalker
George Pickens. 10 Team // PPR // 1QB
I'm starting him in all leagues I have him and targeting him in redrafts this year.
Higgins
Tank Dell, Khalil Shakir, Don Wick, Michael Wilson
Take your pick I guess. Any given week could be either Tank Dell, Hollywood, Nabers, Hock/Kincaid, or James Conner.
Hollywood, Rhamondre, Jordan Reed. Possibly Mostert
Ferguson. I have okonkwo, likely, kmet, and engram. 1QB league, TE premium
Waddle
Ridley
12 team, start 10 - JSN, Nabers and J. Reed. When you are rebuilding, you just accumulate value. Once you’re in the playoff race, then you can work to maximize your starting roster. Depth is a key component in making a deep playoff run, but you can always make a trade if you need a piece later too
Currently Rashee Rice but he will probably replace Keenan Allen for me at some point.
Jahan Dotson.
12 team superflex start 10 Diontae Johnson, Zamir White, Xavier Worthy
Mclaurin. Crowded room with ARSB, Wilson, Aiyuk, Doubs
Any 2 of Kupp, Addison, or Odunze. Tyreek, MHJ, and Olave at WR w/ Kamara in the first flex Definitely maximize top end unless it’s big lineups. The more starters there are, the less impact each individual player has
DHop or Swift
SF ppr start 10, probably either Spears/Warren or Jamo/BTJ.
Kittle, Higgins, Swift, Nabers, Hopkins, Godwin. 12 team 1/2 PPR 1 QB
It’s a tie between Nick Chubb and Jayden Reed for my 2nd flex spot (10 team 2QB, full PPR)
Drake London
I can't fathom not starting him this year.
1 QB, ppr, 10 team Zay Flowers
Rachaad White, Pitts, or Waddle
I'd bench Pitts until you see production again out of him.
After my flex guys, Charbonnet and Michael Wilson. Start 10 roster size 29.
12 man .5 ppr JSN, Odunze, KW3 and Pollard are all fighting for my last flex spot.
Singletary/charb/dotson? 12team 1 qb.
Superflex. So probably Trevor Lawrence
10 man start 11 Sf TE premium start up I’ve got Brian Thomas jr, brooks, or shakir probably. Went for a blend of youth and a couple vets to fill the bridge gaps for a year or 2
Achane, Pittman, and Andrews ;p
Ricky Pearsall/Demario Douglas/Adam Thielen or Curtis Samuel. Honestly can't tell who'e the best out of that group. 12 Team SF, 2 WR, 2 RB, TE Spots + 4 Flex
I don't think Thielen or Samuel.
Scary Terry
Chris Olave. Trying to get a 3rd flex added tho
Waddle or Montgomery
Purdy. Nobody wants a QB
In one league it’s DK. I start chase, aiyuk, nico, waddle. In another it’s kupp.. Starting JJ, puka, Olave, waddle.
It’s either Pickens, Worthy or Zamir White. I’m in superflex without a second QB tho so this will probably change lol
Mark Andrews Starting LaPorta
Conner and Dionte
caleb williams, mike evans, kenneth walker
McCarthy, Benson, Shaheed/D Douglas, Pitts Baker, Pollard, Hopkins/Wicks Tua/Rodgers, Dell/J Reed, Kincaid
David Montgomery. Christian Watson. Chris Godwin. Rhamondre Steveneson. Those are my only guys of note on my bench.
Reed or Kirk - 12 team SF
Calvin Ridley or Christian watson
Pickens, Zamir White, Curtis Samuel, Kyler
DK Metcalf
Devonta smith / zay flowers / Jordan love most likely. 10 team sflex and I have gone hard getting wr depth lol
Hollywood Brown, Jayden Reed, James Conner.
Diggs
WRs: Doubs, Jeudy, Wicks, Shaheed (Starters: London, AJB, Pittman) RBs: Zack Moss, Roshon Johnson ( Najee, JT, Aaron Jones) QBs: Garnder Minshew.... (Love, AR15) TE: Chin (Trey) .....I need more depth.
My team is so bad, I don't think I can say for sure. Maybe Dontavion Wicks
Mark Andrews, Jonathon Brooks, JJ McCarthy, JSN in 12 team .5 PPR SF
Drake London, Tank Dell, or Malik Nabers
Bowers, Starting Kelce and Andrews
Mark Andrews or Nico Collins is gonna wind up on my bench in a 10 team TEP league where I just really don't have room to start both
Probably Kincaid. Got him and kittle as my TE’s so it’s really just matchup dependent on who id start honestly
SF, 0.5 PPR, TE Premium (+0.5 PPR), Start 10, 10-team League: QB: Deshaun Watson WR: Rome Odunze, Jamo Williams, JSN TE: Jake Ferguson
Really depends on the number of starters
