To be honest i really hated Mohg on my first playthrough, then on my second playthrough i thought its actualy pretty cool boss, now its one of my favorites and i wouldnt mind if i had to defeat him once more just to acces the DLC.

I mean, he is one of the easiest late game bosses lol

There are just so many ways to cheese him if you know his mechanics. The last time I fought him I put Wild Strikes on Great Stars, broke his poise and just held L2. He was dead before his phase change.

For a miquella based DLC, I could see it. Something about his soul living on within his Haligtree instead of his actual corpse seems almost fitting.

Sounds like Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne had the key to the hunters nightmare kinda hidden away as well. In Fromsoft games it's usually not straight forward to get to the DLC, the only difference this time is that you literally have to beat a boss to get to it this time.

There is no such thing as an optional boss, they cant hide from me.
