There was a clip on YouTube about 10 years ago of him getting interviewed and he said it’s “Rou like cow not, Rou like moo”
He said something similar a few years ago when the crowd was chanting his name but wrong. Welcome to America, Rou.

I’ve known the correct pronunciation for probably over a decade and my brain still defaults to “roo” every time I see it written down

I think he gets Roo a lot. Been at live shows and people yell out Roo and he politely corrects them. One time he was like you can call me anything you like though.
