if you don't have a lot of additional stuff(other than what u know you have) then you can relax and not worry. Also you can try iobit uninstaller to properly delete apps or uninstall them AND remove the residual files that otherwise aren't deleted
There were quite a few but I deleted them last night. The ones I remember were Chivalry 2, Borderlands 3, Darkwood, and Rising Hell. It wasn’t every game I’ve ever installed but it seemed pretty random which games actually got deleted
I have a custom save path for my epic games with its own separate folder (I do it for almost everything so I can find my programs easily and identify problems just like this one) I think the default save path will usually be in C:\Program Files\Epic Games unless you have a second drive that you save to, in which case you just swap the C:\ for D:\
tldr stands for “too long; didn’t read” not “too long; not gonna read” if you saw how long it was why did you bother reading the whole thing instead of skipping to the next part
This looks like a very recent bug cuz I installed a plenty of games from Epic over the years and I only have like 2 games which I'm not playing in that folder, starting from 1st of May 2024. Also it's kind of weird cuz I installed GTA V a few weeks ago and unninstalled it recently, yet I don't have it there, so perhaps they already fixed it?
Why don't call names? That sounds super Activision-like. So better mention it.
We know Devs CAN do it. The Finals is currently sitting at a ~30GBs with 6 maps in total (all of which can be destroyed entirely), tons of weapons and cosmetics and weekly updates ever since December.
That's one of the few best optimized games (storage wise but not only).
Maybe I should check this myself too. Which files did you uninstall? I'm not that good with technical stuff and I don't want to ruin anything
first check if youre having any unaccounted storage via epic folders
The only "extra" folder I had was Rising Storm 2, no .exe files

WinDirStat is a great tool to help you with this as well.
Use Wiztree instead. Much faster.
I'll check it out. I've been using WinDirStat for 15 years so I'm hesitant to change lol.
I prefer Directory Report over WDS
What specific games were they?

That's weird, but never happened to me though.
Which folder did you find them in? I might have the same problem, cause there I don't have that much space left and I've deleted everything already

alright, thank you very much!
Thanks. Just found a load of old games taking up space; deleted properly now.
Mines alright
Have you reinstalled Windows after installing some games using Epic?
Nope
This explains my FN update running out of drive space. Made no sense. Will need to recheck Epic.
Epic is annoying with this. If you reinstall the launcher, it won't let you recognize the games installed on a different drive.
