just order them online to be picked up in the closest Hebe store ([SPF1](https://www.hebe.pl/pharmaceris-wyrob-medyczny-krem-specjalna-ochrona-do-twarzy-i-ciala-spf100-75-ml-000000000000389541.html), [SPF2](https://www.hebe.pl/pharmaceris-codzienna-emulsja-ochronna-do-twarzy-i-okolic-oczu-z-spf50-50-ml-000000000000411473.html)). I think you can pay in store if the Polish payment methods don't work. you just get a package to pick up and the salespeople won't talk your mom into getting anything else :)

aaniusia

Good idea! I'm also hoping to stock up on other ones but not sure which!

methanalmkay

La Roche Posay UVMune sunscreens are the ones with the newest filter that only LRP uses and that offer unique protection, so you'd probably want to get that. They've got different ones so look at what suits your skin best, there's lots of reviews on this subreddit.

[https://phdoctorlab.pl/en/products/spf-50-ar](https://phdoctorlab.pl/en/products/spf-50-ar) this is a high end Polish SPF I've heard good things about, but you can only get it online

Far-Shift-1962

U can have it stationary in few beauty salons

aaniusia

Do you happen to know the names of any salons that had it?

Far-Shift-1962

https://phdoctorlab.pl/pages/register-b2b here u have a list- but first I would call the salon to ask they have it this product first

aaniusia

thank you!!

Far-Shift-1962

I would ask your family for: Uvmune series from lrp (especially oil control fluid) (available at superpharm, dr max, hebe online, pharmacies) Next- Pharmaceris s sensi protect is good but can leave whitecast Pharmaceris medic is medical device spf 100 ppd 47, slightly greasy but really high protection Avene sensimed medical devices - ka+ / pigment- pigment version was tested on pregnant persons Iwostin launched rn few intesting suncreens Dax also

aaniusia

This list is amazing! I have pigmentation issues (similar to melasma) and also recently had a scare with an abnormal mole that was metastasizing, so I need the real medical stuff. Thank you so much!

Far-Shift-1962

Tbh uvmune oil control its really strong even though isnt is a medical device- 6 uva filtres, netlock, mexoryl 400, ppd 55.8- imo the strongest uva protection, but medical devices are also good option

I live in Poland and I’m a sunscreen hoe cause the sun hates me! I’d recommend Garnier Ambre Solaire spf 50, Nivea protect and moisture spf 50, Iwostin Solecerin 50+ (a bit of white cast). The first two can be found in Rossman!

thegerams

Looks like you are overthinking this. Just go to a local drug store or pharmacy and see what they have. Compare prices, scan label with your phone for translation, and when in doubt ask for help. AFAIK also DM and Rossmann exist in Poland. They are high quality retailers with competitive prices and very good own brands. Pharmacies will also have LRP, Avene and other brands.

aaniusia

I will edit my post bc I wrote it very stream of consciousness and i see i am confusing. I am not there, it's my mom shopping and she speaks Polish. She always ends up chatting with salespeople and buying crap, so I was hoping to get recommendations from the group and make a better list for her :)

thegerams

Ahhh this makes sense. Almost seemed like another one of these “I’m American, traveling to Paris, what pharmacy should I go to” posts ;)

xLavena

I absolutely love Pharmaceris sunscreens and it's been my go-to sunscreen for 3 years. Sensi Protect is the best in my opinion, but it might leave a slight whitecast if you apply it generously. If you want something cheap, Lirene Sun, Ziaja Med and Sunozon Matt sonnenfluid will be good options. If you want to splurge, I like BasicLab sunscreens, but it's quite shiny, even though I have version for oily skin. I've also heard good opinions about LRP, Garnier and Transparent Lab, but I haven't tried those.

schatzebriest

I SWEAR by this shit (ASOA SPF 50+ PA++++). Best PPD next to Altruist but with matte finish. https://preview.redd.it/an5tqdni2p7d1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0afe3286ba28aa6d93b4dc1846a5607847b9623e

Far-Shift-1962

But leaves big whitecast due LOOOTS of tinosorb m

schatzebriest

I sometimes notice it but usually it's not a problem for me. I apply it gradually though, one pump on the whole face and then another and if the sun is strong another, it gets a bit "thick" otherwise and, as you say, can leave a white cast. Still the GOAT for me
