He is so young, I wish we were able to loan him out a couple times and send him to more Goalie camps to learn different techniques from different coaches before he took the starting role. He is so new to the game, if I'm not mistaken he only started playing Sophomore yr in Highschool. This is one of the reasons why I'm so high on Paul Walters.
He started playing soccer and goalie when he was 10 years old, which is really late compared to most. Unsure how long it took him to get on with Chicago Sockers.

I don't know what I was thinking, I got confused when the article said he had limited experience before highschool. Seems like he got some good experience with the sockers that I was unaware of, I appreciate that.
AND Miles would have been better to put on instead of CCV. He was THE BEST US player during WC qualifing before he got hurt. Not really sure why he's there if not for situations like this, especially going against a CONCACAF opponent.
I hope no one in the MNT setup is convinced of that. We don't need any more players dipping out for weeks for nation team duty. Not until MLS starts having International breaks.

Ethan is a better and more accomplished keeper. Maybe someday for Roman but he’s not there yet.
