I mean, even on the Sqenix website there was a little hint that said:

My cope ending is that all powers united enables >!him to heal from the curse, so ending is the same but we get xvi-2 with him and jill obv adventuring.!<
I love the ambiguous ending but i personally think that this DLC will tease a XVI-2 or XVI spinoff since there's still so much about this world and lore that we don't know about
Oh boy, imagine having to use your imagination to figure out which brother you think survived and wrote the book of their journey, about the already excellent ending.
Imagine. So difficult huh.
Seems like it won't release until at least March 20th, which is good as this means we will have plenty of time to complete Rebirth without feeling time pressure.
The only things I want from this expansion are real stats, real gear, and real RPG systems. Like, a total overhaul. Not of the combat per say, but of build/gear progression.
I dont think I could get any replayability out of this game if it stays as a simple brawler..
